"I hate this." He muttered as he leaned on the balcony railing.

He knew he wasn't supposed to like his cousin. It was illegal, in fact. Of course,  Yoongi also knew that he was partially the reason why Seokjin was a part of his family in the first place. Throwing the company history and financial data collection sheet on his desk, the young male flopped face-first onto his bed. Just as he was relaxing, a knock was heard at the door and his head snapped up.

"Yoongi-sshi, the head chairman would like to see you." Was all that was said and the hallway went completely silent again. A groan escaped his lips as the young teen stood up, eyes narrowed in annoyance. He shuffled to the door and opened it, meeting an empty hallway. He still felt the watching eyes. Straightening his clothes and posture, Yoongi walked to the main study and knocked on the door.

"Come in." a voice replied with authority and sharpness. Yoongi winced. He could recognize that voice anywhere. Cautiously opening the door, the male stepped into the study, which smelled like old paper. Closing the door behind himself as quietly as possible, Yoongi cleared his throat and bowed stiffly.

"Head chairman Min, you requested my presence?" Yoongi raised the end slightly into a question and stood up straight again.

"...I have decided to give half the shares and one of the two main branches of the company to your adoptive cousin." Yoongi didn't do anything to conceal the surprise and joy that crossed his features. Something nagged at the back of his mind about how his grandfather had changed his mind so easily, but Yoongi tried to shrug it off.

"Thank you for notifying me, head chairman." He said with another bow and turned to leave.

"Min Yoongi." Yoongi froze, hand on the door handle. "Seokjin is a good cousin to you, and will be a great coworker to you." There was a pause in the atmosphere and a chill ran up Yoongi's spine. "...And he will stay that way, for the rest of your life." Yoongi could feel his grandfather's gaze bore into the back of his head.

"...Of course." He managed to choke out before walking out of the study as quickly as possible.

Yoongi moved his elbows into a more comfortable position on the railing with a sigh, glaring down 35 stories at some obscure tree. Lifting one hand, the blonde male ran it through his hair. Yoongi stood up completely, turning around and walking back through the doorway. A sudden frustration climbed up through his throat as he was moving to close the door.

"Damn it!"

Yoongi yelled as his fist hit the glass door with a loud thump. He breathed in and out shakily, letting his hand slide down the glass surface that wouldn't change. Just as smooth, sturdy, and reflective as before.

---

The mall was crowded, to say the least. A lot of people were there to escape the humidity and heat of mid-July. Yoongi was just one of those people. That, and he needed a new tuxedo for a business party. As he walked between the rows and rows of hangers, Yoongi noticed a couple a few rows down. Their conversation caught his ears, and although he hadn't meant to eavesdrop, it was too late when he realized.

Jimin sipped his water quietly, listening to Taehyung talk with a small smile placed on his features, feeling calmer than before.

"You know, I was really surprised when I found out Jungkook was only 19." Taehyung started, chin placed atop one of his hands and a thoughtful expression on his face. Jimin chuckled nervously.
