Same Routine

"I'll have my usual fruits for lunch Ms.Grant." I was currently ordering my lunch yeah I know you must be wondering why fruits.I'm not a big fan of sweets and my health is one of my main priorities.

"And I'll have my usual chicken and chips along with one pepperoni pizza and two D&G soda Ms.Grant."A voice I've come to know by now says from behind me.

Ms.Grant is one of our lunch ladies,but she's my favorite lunch lady.We've been friends from I was in seventh grade.

I'm currently in ninth grade attending the William Knibb Memorial High School and am on a Track and Field scholarship. Track And Field is my priority,I take this sport very very serious.I attend training everyday after school from 3:00 to 5:00.

I'm a total health addict so here's a list of things you should know about me,I don't eat sweety or sweety substances,I don't drink juice unless my mother blends pure natural fruit juice for me,I only eat meat whenever I feel to eat it and I love soup......

I was cut out of my train of thoughts by someone only to look around to see Tafarie,don't these guys ever give up.He's been trying to get me for days now and everytime I just tell him no and ignore him.

"So is that a yes?"Tafarie ask looking like a six year old who is afraid to tell her mommy that he broke the bed lamp.

"Sorry...what was the question?"I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't hear him asking me something .

"Look am just asking you for five minutes I'll be quick?"He said raking his hands through his beautiful blonde hair.

He's lucky am not in no mood for making him suffer today.

"Okay five minutes and that's all."I stated and his face lit up like a dozen fireworks. Wow who is this guy,wait who am I tricking I know who he is of course.

Tafarie Campbell is the captain of our school's football team.He's in tenth grade while I'm in nine.Also he's knibb(shorter version of saying william knibb Memorial high school)playboy,he had sex with practically 87% of the girls here.

Well you know who wins that battle.I shook my head to clear my thoughts before getting myself ready to listen to tafarie.

"Okay....the thing is Lexi I really really do like you and I was hoping you'd give me a chance on being with you."
He finishes his sentence looking me in the eye with hope in his sky blue eyes.

"Lol....lol"I was trying my best to contain my laughter  but I couldn't hold it any longer.

"How long did you take to prepare that speech?"I asked in a serious tone.

"Ehm one day.Do you like it?"He asked with a smirk on his face and am gonna be the one to wipe it off.

"Nope...not at all."I couldn't contain my laughter at how his mouth dropped at my words.

"Listen Mr.Campbell you're going to have to try harder than that to get me if you really want me.Am not one of your bimbos who you can just walk right up to and tell them that you like her and she'd be over the roof to be in a relationship with you.Its obvious that you don't know me so instead of bothering me everyday and telling me silly speeches why don't you try and know me first before you put yourself in another situation like this."
