Can you believe it's been 8 years? Can you believe that it's been 8 years since I have heard your voice?
I write one of these letters every year, knowing that you will probably never read them.
But this year is different.
I found Remus. He has a lead on Peter. We might get you out soon! You might finally come home.
It's my 5th year teaching at Hogwarts. The stars are the same. The same constellations every season. Your constellation every season. Orion. Whenever Orion pays me a visit, it's almost like you are still here. Or maybe I've gone a bit mad. It seems that Minnie thinks so of course. She's worried about me. She shouldn't be. I'm fine. I'm sane.
I must be going. The feast will be starting soon and I must be there. You always loved Halloween. You told me once it was because for one day you weren't Sirius Black. But I love Sirius Black. What I would do to share one my Halloween with you.
