End of the day
3pm

Hayley's POV
Isaac and I get home to tell my mum when we get home and something has happened because my mum has been crying. "Maria are you ok?" Isaac says running next to "mum are you ok?" I say running up to her giving her a hug
"yeah I'm fine" she's say "your not fine" I say looking at her "you have been crying" Isaac says finding tissues for her "mum sit down and we will figure things out" I say getting her to sit down on the couch. "You know your great grandfather?" She asks me, well this can't end good "yes" I say very nervous "well he got shot and he might not make it so I have to go New Zealand and be there for him" she says sobbing "how bad were the injures?" Isaac asked "he will be ok?" I asked almost in tears "he got shot more than 5 times" my mum said. I run up to my room in tears because I really never had a father and my great grandfather was basically my father. My father left us when I was 7 and a half. In my room I'm too torn apart too think. I have cramps, my head hurts and I just wanna sleep.

Isaac's POV
"I'll go and make sure that Hayley is ok" I say getting up and giving Maria a hug "tell her I'm leaving tonight" Maria says. I knock on the door, no answer. "Can you please unlock your door and let me in. I know your upset but please we need to talk about what happened" I say trying to comfort her "Go away. I'm not in the mood to talk to anyone" she says sobbing. This could be tricky since she's on her period and I can tell because Haze always isolates herself from everyone "well you let me in we can discuss and don't forget about the surprise" I say hoping I didn't slip that in too early

Hayley's POV
*BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP*

My phone start ringing it was Erin. I instantly declined and then a message came up

Erin: hey what up girl??

Me: not in the mood...

Erin: why what happened

Me: don't want to talk about it.

Erin: did Isaac cheat on you?

Me: no, I gotta go now. Ttyl bye

Erin: Bye?

I unlocked my door to see Isaac waiting for me. "hey can I come in? He asked me"guess so" I said "why are you so upset" he asked "because I've really never had a father and my great grandfather was basically my father" I said as we sat on my bed "I'm so sorry" he said as I broke down into his shirt "you didn't really know because I kept it hidden" I said still crying "your mum is leaving tonight" Isaac said as I jumped "TONIGHT?" I basically yelled
"yeah bub tonight" he said so sweet and caring. "We have to tell her" I said getting up and fixing myself up. Isaac and I walked into my mums room to see her packing "so how long are you going to be gone?" I asked "about 6 weeks depends on how he is" she said looking at us too "ok, I hope he gets better" I say gigging my mum "hey you ok you look like you guys want to say something to me" my mum said eyeing us off "Isaac and I are engaged" I blurted out "oh my congratulations" my mum said but she was still speechless "thank you and hope he gets better" Isaac said hugging my mum "Yep I'll send him your wishes and I'll definitely send him yours" my mum looking at me "love you mum" I say "thanks and we will go, so you can pack in peace" Isaac walking out of the room with me "thanks guys you's are awesome" my mum said just as we walked out.
