MOONTRAP: A collection of English Poems

I saw you through the window
which you left open
for winds and birds
but my gaze followed
uncontrolled and with wings
and I sat with you for hours.

You, on your purple bicycle,
kissed the winds
touched the birds 
burst the clouds
and I just looked at you
from the hilltop
which you never dared to climb.

I even dared to write a letter,
confessing all my crimes,
the love of my heart, 
made a paper plane of it,
and threw at your terrace top,
which you read under the starlit sky,
and you did wonder if I was shy

The morning bloomed and the Autumn came,
Moon rose high, the stars played a game,
You hid in a poem, and I read it out
words on my lips, and we kissed, no doubt!
I saw white snow in your deep blue eyes,
There were no what's and there were no why's!

We sat together on the beach, on the benches
hiding winter in our long deep embraces,
you would stare the moon
and I'll stare just you,
and you will read my letter
and I'll love you!
