My Bestfriend's Brother (MBB)

Chapter 1

Jaylene POV

I woke up to the smell of fried chicken. I stretched like a cat to try and calm my sore muscles. i looked at the clock on the wall and noticed its almost dinner time. Damn i slept through the whole day. I got up from the couch and made my way into the kitchen. My mom was infront of the stove cooking. 

"MMM mom that smells delicious. What are you making?" 
"Well I am making rice and beans, fried chicken, baked mac & cheese, and greens. It will be done in hour so go get ready. Oh we are having company. Leanie, Ja'leel, Chris and Leah (their parents) are coming to have dinner with us."
"Okay mom" 

I run to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I come out the shower and walk into my room to get dressed. I walk into my closet and put on matching black lace underwear and bra. I pick out my clothes as quickly as possible. i put on my normal wear (http://www.polyvore.com/chilling_day/set?id=117465079) and once again put my hear into a messy bun. I walk downstairs and see Leanie sitting on the couch. I run to her and jump on her lap. 

"Ugh get off of me fat ass" she whines trying to push me off.
"Aww babe that hurts my feelings I'm not fat." I pout at her. 

I hear someone chuckling in the couch next to us. I look up and see that Ja'leel is staring at us laughing. I get off of Leanie and go into the kitchen.

There I see Chris, Leah, Mom and Dad talking. As soon as i come in they get quiet and look at me. I feel some type of way. Are they talking about me? Oh well. I havent seen my dad all day so me being me i run to him and jump into his arm. Yes i am a daddy's girl deal with it. My dad catches me and hugges me into his chest. 

"Hi daddy. I missed you today." I said in a baby voice. 

My mom looked at us and rolled her eyes. I stuck my tongue out at her and she laughed. I looked up at my daddy and saw him smiling down at me. I kissed his cheeck and snuggled into his chest again. 

"Hey babygirl. I missed you too. How was your day?" He asked chuckling. 
"My day was a normal weekend day. Leanie coming to wake me up early to go shopping then sleeping most of the day." I smiled up at him. 

Everyone in the room laughed when we heard Leanie say hey from the living room. My dad kissed my forehead and i got off of him. I helped my mom make the table and put the food out. Everyone sat around the table ready to eat. Ugh just my luck I get to sit between Leanie and Ja'leel. Our parents start talking about everything. We all chill and eat our dinner. I look at Leanie and rub my stomach. I am as full as a tick. She laughes at me then does the same.

You know what I think its a good idea to tell them that I am leaving in three days. I hope they take it good. Speacially Leanie. I know she could be a little stubborn. 

"Okay everyone I have an announcement to make. Mom and Dad already know this but I think its time for me to tell my bestfriend. I think it will be easier with her family here." I said looking around to everyone. 

I took a deep breath and tried to calm my nerves. Everyone starring at me didnt help much. Okay here it goes. 

"Leanie I am leaving to London in three days. I have to go to a private school there." 
"WHAT!? Why didnt you tell me before Jay. Why are you leaving?" Leanie said with tears in her eyes. 
"Well Lee I am going to leave to chase my dream. I always wanted to be a dancer so imma persue it." 

Leanie looked at me as if i was crazy. She didn't say anything just ran out the house. I try to go after her but someone grabs me and stops me. I look up at the person and see Ja'leel staring down at me. Did i forget to tell yall he towers over me with his 6'3" to my 4'10". 

"No don't. Give her some time. She is hurt that you didnt tell her before." He said to me with his deep voice. 

I nod and get out of his arms. I look at everyone else and see my parents saying goodbye to Chris and Leah. Ja'leel waits for his parents at the door.

"Have a nice trip Jaylene. It's a nice that u r fallowing ur dreams. Leanie will get over it. Just give her some space." Leah said. 

They hugged me and left the house. I look at my parents. They smile at me and motion for me to go to my room. I go to my room and look around. I start to pack everything that i will need for the next two years. I have a total of five suitcases. I lay in my bed staring at the cealing as tears fall from my eyes. I really messed up. I should have told her before. I mean i have known for the past six months. That night I fall asleep crying. 

"Princess get up. We have to leave for the airport soon." I hear my dad voice say. 

I get up and see my dad looking at me from the door way. I smile at him and make my way get ready. I do my morning routine then get dressed. (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=120055614) I see that my dad took my luggage from my room. Its been three days since Leanie has talked to me. I guess she is still mad at me. I walk out the house to see my parents already in the van waiting for me. I get in the van and start my journey to my new life.
