"How do you make a polyjuice potion?" Snape asked.

Grace's hand shot up, "Lacewing flies, leeches, powdered bicorn horn, knotgrass, fluxweed, shredded boomslang skin, and a DNA sample from the thing you want to turn into..."

"How long does it take to make?" Snape challenged.

"1 month," Grace said.

"... and how long are you transformed?" Snape asked.

"1 hour, unless you take more to keep the spell going," Grace said.

Percy smiled and looked to Grace, "The thing you want to turn into?"

Grace looked confused, "Yes..."

"That's a bit... broad," Snape said.

"Flint... what would be the correct word to describe that?" Snape asked.

"Uh... Person?" Marcus stuttered.

"Person or..." Snape called on a slytherin girl.

"Entity?" The girl said.

"Very good! 10 points to Slytherin!" Snape said.

Grace frowned and looked at Percy, who was just as upset as all the Gryffindors in the room.

After class Grace stayed behind with Snape.

"Why are you so hard on me?" Grace asked.

"You got the question wrong," Snape said.

"No I didn't!" Grace said.

"Watch your tone Potter," Snape said.

"I know you wanted me to be headgirl!" Grace said, crossing her arms.

Snape turned, "Get. Out."

Grace stood her ground, he walked over to her, she was short for her age, only about 5'5 and Snape towered over her.

"What exactly will you gain if you stay?" Snape asked.

Grace gulped and walked away, meeting Percy in the hallway.

"Lets go," Grace said.

"Grace he's just favoring Slytherin I'm sure it was nothing against you besides... I thought your answer was brilliant," Percy smiled.
