What is it like
To say "I love you"
To the person
You've loved your entire life?
It is the feeling of nervousness
Your heartbeat racing
Body,sweating profusely
As you mull over the carefully picked words.
You heat up the words
Savouring them
As if drinking
a new bottle of wine.
It is the feeling of
Dread and anxiety
As your mind come up with scenarios
Of the outcome that might be
As the words
Escape your lips in an
Unpredictable panic
It leaves a warm and fuzzy feeling
In your mouth
It is the feeling of
Joy and satisfaction
When she looks in your eyes
And repeats those words...
