"And your the guy who hit her." He chuckles walking away. "Small world."

I knew this would happen. I wasn't surpise at all. This war way he engaged me.  He wanted to set the record straight.

Andrew calls us all up in a huddle, making sure we know the rules of scoring. More like making sure I knew the rules.

They took their sports bags and created mini goals, and I followed right behind Kian.

We played for a while, almost an hour until I had to go. I won't lie all of them where really good. Kian was really I into doing tricks over Alex shoulder, and Andrew was focusing on breaking my knees with his shooting skills.

I was happy I made it out there alive. I've never played that aggressive in my life. Okay that's a lie, but when I play with Damien it's just the two of us. Usually it end with one of us laying on the guy saying how tired they were. And that was usually Damien.

I headed out the door, when Kian ran up to me almost pushing me.out the door.

"You didn't think you'll run off so easily did you?"

"What?"

He looked around, before looking over at the locker room. "We should talk. You know for..." he didn't know how to put the words he was going to say in terms. He was probably going to threaten me about or something.

It wouldn't be the first time. But I can handle myself. I had to. If I had wanted to make my dad proud I had to train everyday after school just to keep up.

He tells me I font need to learn all that because there's a reason why he has bodyguards. But bodyguard do so little in the time that needs to be done.

Besides, I don't what to keep my trust in someone else. That how you get killed in this business.

Anyway, I followed him inside all the way to the back. Apparently that's where his locker was, and he took out some of his stuff.

"So why did you call me? " I asked.

He looked over at me, and then chuckles. "I wanna apologize."

The look on my face couldn't express how surpise I was. "Apologize? " I questioned.  The word seemed so foreign to me in that time. "Why would you want to do that? "

"Well it's actually not me. It's Olive. She told me what happened on Monday."

I nodded, thinking of all the possibility that would occur from this very moment.  I thought of all the different angles I would have to take him if he tried anything.

I already knew where the exit was. But then I thought about him, how his hair looked so familiar.

"You were there when I came to the apartment."

"Yeah I was. I slept over. I just woke you when you got in."

"Cool." I waited until no words were being exchanged between us. "So...did she-"

"I don't know what's going on with the two of you. Frankly I just met you and you seemed terrible, but you have some pretty good skills."

"Thank you?"

"Yeah, don't thank me yet."

"So...she didn't say anything about me after. You know about-" I leaned in waiting for anything to come out his mouth.

He stood there in though before his face lit up. "She told me how you bought her stuff, and she threw them out. That's all."

"Really?"

"Yeah," he chuckled. "What's wrong with you dude. You hit a girl and think she'll magically forget when you buy her nice things."

"Well... If it wasn't like that entirely. "

"Okay."

After everything that he had just said, I thought it would be best to be friend him. And at that moment I started to doubt what my true intentions were anymore.

Kian closed his locker, and headed out with me right behind him.

"You know, we're looking for a guy to join our team. "

"Your what?" I asked.
"Our soccer team. See our friend Tyler sick right now and we're going against my brothers team, and we're one man short."

I nodded rapidly.  "Yeah, I'm totally in."

He smiled, before giving me his number. "Text me and I'll tell you if the ret of them are cool with it. "

I smiled back. Waving goodbye.

I was in a game I had no idea I was playing.
