Wave felt his heart pounding in his chest like a deer gone wild. He was trapped! By humans! He had heard stories about wolves that had been trapped and never returned back. His father had always told him not to go outside at night, because it was at that time that humans pounced on their preys. But he, as a young wolf had ignored his father and all the others that had told him the same thing. And now look what had happened to him. He had been put into a cage and now their strange think that moved on the streets was carrying him away from his forest, from his house. He was sad and hungry and scared. He didn't knew what was waiting form him him wherever the humans were bringing him but he knew that he would never see his Pack and family again. And as the car went by on the road, he fell asleep, thinking about his home.
