Hey all. I'm slowly working on some new book covers for A Second Chance and I'm going to post them here so you all to tell me if you like them or not. Annabel Lee attends a farewell to summer bonfire in a last ditch effort to socialize before the new school year begins and she inevitably becomes invisible once again. This is her chance to make a name for herself. And in a way, she managed to do just that.
The next morning her picture goes viral on every news station and social media outlet around. This is, of course, after her body is found in the woods. So, it wasn't the type of popularity she was looking for but nonetheless, everyone now knows her name. She's the latest and youngest victim of the Black Hills Heartbreaker who is notorious for ripping the heart out of all of his victims.
Annabel is then thrown into the afterlife, given the number 08058619 and waits among the dead. A screen brightens in the waiting room as numbers start to roll off. One by one her fellow dead heads silently exit through a door marked STAGE. When her numbers flash across the screen the game begins and the cameras roll as she enters into the highest rated game show in the after life.
Three trials. Fifteen contestants. Only one winner. Will she win her second chance at life?
