This is dedicated to tugsdear who somehow pressured me to upload already.

To writerxoxo, I’ve placed the line here! Thank you so much!

I divided the chapters with different sides. Originally, chapter 8 is a very long chapter that shows three perspectives. Don't be confused. --Love, stupidcupid

Princess’ Side <3

“Cessie, let’s play!” Andy tells me while he pulls my arm. Andy always wants a playmate just before dinner but I’m so tensed about the play that I can’t entertain him now.

“Sorry squirt. I need to practice my lines. I’m so nervous about tomorrow.” I tell him. He stares at me, blankly.

“You wouldn’t understand.” I tell him as I rub his hair. Andy rushes off while I look at my script.

This is impossible to do! I can’t be Elisa. The principal did a terrible job in casting me. Elisa is described to be perfect. She’s a true lady: beautiful, talented, charming and smart. How could I be like her when I’m just plain me? I sigh.

Suddenly, Andy comes back with clean sheets of paper and pens. He handed it  to me.

“Practice your lines.” He commands me. I laugh. He wants me to draw lines. Literally draw lines.

“Fine but I’d need your help.” I reply. He smiles and sits in front of my computer table. Then he begins drawing circles.

“I thought we were practicing lines?” I ask him.

“Lines are boring.” He comments.

“Lines are exciting!” I argue. I draw squiggles, horizontal lines, vertical lines, diagonal lines and broken lines. Then I turn to Andy with a smile.

“Boring.” He remarks while yawning.

“Hmph,” I say while crossing my arms.

Andy then draws something else. First is a stick figure of a kid holding a lollipop. Next to it is an older lady. Holding the lady’s hand is a stick figure of a man. After drawing, he puts labels. He labels the kid as “Baby Andy” and the lady as “Mommy Cessie”. Just before Andy writes the label of the stickman, he laughs. Then he puts “Daddy Vince” on top of it.

Andy smiles and then hands the picture to me.

I force a smile.

Why did Vince have to show up that day and be all nice and stuff? Andy would be crushed if he would hurt him. Andy would be so sad if we couldn’t act as a family to him. Which we could never be. I hate Vince and things would never work out. Can’t he be just some other guy? A nicer and less mean guy.

“When would daddy come by and visit?” Andy asks. I could see it in his eyes that he really misses Vince.

“Um, Vince is kind of busy right now because of the play but after it’s over maybe you two could bond.” I lie. Even if I would never ever want Vince to come near me, I had to tell Andy something positive. He’s just a kid and he won’t understand the conflict between Vince and me.

“Grrr...” I hear Andy’s tummy grumble.

“You’re hungry. Ready for dinner?” I tell him.

“What are we having?” he asks excitedly.

“Surprise. Now, go ahead and wash up before we eat.” I say.

“Is it gummy bear soup?” he asks before rushing off. I chuckle.
