Elizabeth

My first reaction waking up is shock. I quickly sit up in bed and realize I'm not in my own house. Reality sets in a few seconds later. I'm in Tristan's house. I look over to the clock on the nightstand. 9:00.

I decide to take a hot shower. I revel in the heat, forgetting what a hot shower feels like.

I dried my hair and change back into my big sweatshirt, not bothering with the pants this time. This morning isn't that cold.

I walk downstairs into the kitchen to be greeted by the scent of something cooking. I see Mrs. Blake standing in front of the oven, sticking something inside.

She hears me come in and turns around. "Good morning, Elizabeth." she smiles.

"Morning."

"You hungry?"

"A little."

"What would you like?"

"Do you have any yogurt?"

She reaches into the fridge and hands me a cup of strawberry yogurt."

She puckers her eyebrows. "Are you sure that's enough?"

"Yeah, I'm not used to eating a lot of food, so." I shrug my shoulders. And it's true. The last time I stuffed myself, I ended up getting sick.

"If you're sure. If you're still hungry, though, don't hesitate to grab something."

"Thank you."

At that moment is when I hear someone bounding down the stairs. I turn around and see Tristan walking through the doorway rubbing his eyes wearing only his pajama pants. And let me tell you. It's quite the picture.

He sees me standing there and catches me staring and grins. "Enjoying the view?"

I nod my head, my lips quirking up in a smile. He walks up to me and circles his hands around my waist. "I love it when you wear things like this. It's sexy as hell."

"I'll remember that." I say and kiss him. He responds quickly and holds me tighter and applying more pressure to my lips.

"I never thought I'd see the day!" A voice startles me and we jump away from each other. I see a figure leaning against the wall. I get a better look at them and see it's a boy around our age with hazel eyes and curly brown hair.

"Drew, what the fuck?"

"Can't I just marvel over the fact that "Mr. I Don't Want a Girlfriend" is suddenly going steady?"

Tristan rubs his face and groans and Drew turns to me. "So what's your name, pretty girl?"

"Drew-"

I cut him off. "Tristan, it's fine." I put out my hand. "I'm Elizabeth." he takes my hand and shakes it.

"Pretty name, pretty girl."

I raise my eyebrow. "So are you going to call me by my name, or am I going to be pretty girl this whole time, pretty boy?"

He scans me again and smiles at Tristan. "This is a good one, Tris." he says and walks to the fridge.

I turn back to Tristan. "So what do you usually do for Christmas?"

"Well on Christmas Day we just hang at the house. We play in the snow for Lily and watch Christmas movies. But today we go over to my aunt and uncle's house. You remember them from my birthday party?"

I think back and I nod. "Mary and Lyle, right?"

"Yeah. We go over their house for a big Christmas Even dinner. We usually leave by 3 and get back home at midnight."
