"Morning," I said looking at him. I got up from the bed and walked over to the kitchen. I went to the cabinet to look for my birth control. Just as I was about to drink it he stoped me. "Don't drink it," he said. "I have too, I don't want to get pregnant," I say drinking it. "It's okay I wouldn't mind having a baby," he said making me choke on the water. I just laughed and went to the restroom. Once I was out I found him watching the tv. "Why are you always glued to the tv?," I asked. "I have nothing to do," he said looking at me. "Can I pick out your outfit?," he asked walking to my closet. "Yeah but later we have practice in a bit so just wait," I said grabbing some pants and a shirt. "The guys are coming over?," he asked. "Yeah we have practice today," I say. "What if they tell me something?," he asked. "Then you tell them the truth, they'll understand," I said. Just on cue their was a knock on the door. Jace froze fear filled his eyes, I knew he was afraid that the only true family he had ever had would reject him. I understood what that felt like, it was painful and a mental torture. I walked over to the door to see taehyung. "Hey can we come watch practice today?," he asked. "Sure your always welcomed to," I say leaving the door open. "Hey man how are you," says jace hugging taehyung. "I'm good and you?," he asked. "Great I'm back with my girl," jace says looking over at me, I just smile and set up the music and the camera. A few minutes later the guys show up and the amazement is every where. It had been a while sice jace had left, they couldnt believe he was actually back. They looked at me to see if i was seeing what they were seeing. I just nodded and smiled unable to control or contain my happiness. They all rushed in to hug him except shin he looked at jace with dissapointment. Shin and jace had always been close friends, they had always shared everything with each other until the night jace went back to korea. After all the hugging and the exciment, jace looked over at shin and smiled. "Aren't you happy to see me shin?," jace asked. "Why are you back jace, didnt you have enough hurting nana once," shin said. "Im back to make things right, im sorry i hurt you," jace said nodding his head. "Well at least you're back," shin said hugging him tightly. "Okay everyone postitions," i said, Clapping my hands togther. Eveyone got ready, eventhough it had been a while since jace had dance with us it finally seemed complete all the steps felt warm again. Every moved to the beat of the music, once in a while someone would mess up and they took that as a sign that a break was needed. I tried hard to see and make sure we could all work with the same steps. Choreographing wasn't always easy since i had to make sure all the steps matched with each other and they were okay for the beat of music. While everyone toom a break i kept on practicing, everyone watched me continue. Jace walked over to taehyung and his friends. "Do you guys come around her often?," he asked. "Yeah taehyung likes watching nana dance,? Said jimin. "Really?, i do too, i love the way she concentrates and moves with perfection," jace said. "When she dances it seems like nothing could go wrong," says taehyung looking at nana. They both just nod looking at nana, i turn and smiled at them. The reason i loved dancing was because it made me feel happy and because i loved the way jace stared at me. His eyes gave me strenght and motivation to keep on going. I had always loves dancing with him or for him it allowed me to see a side of him i hoped only i knew. The time we had spent apart I had missed this the most. Suddenly I saw taehyungs eyes full of hurt, I looked away not knowing what to do. "What was that all about? I wonder what's wrong with him?," I asked myself. Since both boys were a bit of a distraction I put on my earphones and picked up the volume. I concentrated on the beat of the music and let my body move on its own. Dancing set me free and it was something that wasn't only part of me but part of my soul; dancing for me was like exposing my weakest side of me. I opened my eyes to see my exhausted reflection in the mirror, I looked around only see everyone slowly fade away.
Jace's p.o.v
I saw her smile and then collapse I ran but still didn't make it in time to catch her. I sat at her side and shook her, "nana! Nana! Wake up!!," I screamed. I had been gone for so long that she had no one to help her realize the pain she felt or the stress she had. I couldn't help but sob, "n-n-n-nana please wake up, I know it's my fault, I promise I won't leave ever again but please just wake up," I cried in her shoulder. I could feel everyone around me staring at me, but all that seemed distant, I felt a warm hand touch my cheek "j-j-jace why are you crying ," nana asked weakly. I hugged tightly, "jace it hurts," she said. I finally let go to see her smiling. "Yah don't ever scare me again, I thought I had lost you for good," I said sobbing into her neck. She just hugged me and patted my back with out saying anything. I pulled away and got up, I couldn't face anyone around me so I quietly walked away to the bathroom. She just stayed there and laid on the floor again.
Nana's p.o.v
I didn't know what to do so I just laid back down and looked up at the ceiling. I saw a familiar face looking at me, it was jace that had finally come out from the bathroom. He smiled at me reaching for my hand, I took his hand and stood on my feet.
"Maybe you've practiced enough," he said.
"Yeah, I'm hungry," I said walking to the kitchen.
"I sorta ate all the food you had so... let's go get some," he said. I just nodded and walked to the door; I turned and looked at the guys who I had almost forgotten were ther. "Wanna come?," I asked looking at them. They all looked at each other and finally shin said, "nah I think you two should go out on a date or something," he said smirking; I looked at them and smiled. I walked out and jaded walked behind me closing the door. We walked down the stairs and he held my hand as we walked down the street. It had been a long time since we went out or had sometime alone. We walked to the local convenient store and got some ramen. We ate together, I couldn't help,but remember the times we would skip school to come eat ramen and then go out to the beach or just dance at the park.
"Why are you smiling?," he asked looking at me.
"I just remembered all the times when we were kids and skipped school," I said. He smiled and continued to eat, when we were done eating he grabbed my hand and took me to the train station. He let me go and bought some tickets, we quietly waited for the train. When the train finally arrived we got on I laid my head on jace's shoulder and took a nap. When we arrived jace gently patted my shoulder to wake me up, it was only then that I noticed we were at the beach. I smiled and looked at him, "why are we here?," I asked smiling . He just shook his head and walked, I followed behind him, until I finally walked up too him and gave him a back hug. He didn't say anything and just stood there with me in silence. When the silence was finally broken it was not what I had expected, "babe get on," he said pushing me up and gave me piggyback ride. He walked to the edge of the sand and set me down. I stood there next to him and waited for the water to hit our feet. As waited for the water jace pulled my hand and ran for it instead of waiting, the water was cold but it was okay because with jace everything was okay. We began splashing around. when we finally got out of the water, we were soaked so we walked to the closest store we could find but it was closed.
"What are we gonna do now?," I asked jace
"Um i don't know it's not that cold so we'll be fine," he said hugging me. We walked down the street together we talked about how we had coped without each other, he told me what it felt like to be the boss and how everything you say had to be done. I had a question I had wanted to ask him since he got back but I didn't think I would be able to handle the answer. "Hey jace,?" I asked cutting him off, he looked over at me. "Did you like the girl you were meant to marry?," I asked looking away trying to fight the tears that were ready to fall. He reached for my face and made me face him, he gently brushed the tears off my checks and looked me dead in the eye, "nana I will never love someone as much as I love you," he said smiling at me. The night continued, we laughed and talked, everything felt normal. We made our way to the train station and held hands. When we finally arrived home I took a quick shower and so did jace. After that we laid in bed and talked until he eventually fell asleep followed by me.
