A/N: OK before you start reading, plz understand we have no information of who Daniel's parents are, and I kinda need that info. So if you know anything plz tell me.

"We're going to American for a vacation!" My parents yelled, both at the same time.

My jaw dropped to the ground and my eyes widen.

"You have got to be kidding me?" I asked.

"What's wrong honey, I thought you loved it there?" My mum asked confused.

"I did. But-b, I haven't been back in 2 years, mum."

"We know. That's why we're going." She said jumping up and down.

My mum is extremely fit for her age. Maybe it's because we go for runs every afternoon, or hikes every Sunday. She has too much energy. Probably where I get it from.

"And we're coming with you this time. Plus we are staying somewhere else." My dad exclaimed.

My dad is...extraordinarily, sometimes in good way, and sometimes not. I get my weirdness and creativeness from him. Plus my voice. He was kinda like my vocal coach when I was little. Now, I'm my own singing coach.

I froze when I realized just what he said.

"Wait? What? So we're not staying in Vancouver. But that's the only place I know."

"But I thought Daniel would have taken you other places, right?" Mum asked

"Yeah, to show me tourist destinations, ma. Not to memorize the whole of the Unites States."

Before mum could say anymore, dad interrupted.

"Come on honey. It would be a great adventure. Explore the Hollywood mountain, or whatever they call it. And you can ride around LA with your new license." He said drifting off into his imagination.

"Hang on, its almost Summer break. When are we going." I asked hoping they weren't going to say what I think they're going to say.

"When summer break starts!" Mum yelled.

Yep, she said it.

"Are you guys crazy? Its going to be winter over there."

"That's OK, oh did I tell you we're spending Christmas there." Dad said.

"It snows." I over pronounced me words.

"Oooohh." They both said.

"H-how could you not know that?"

"Wait!" Mum yelled. "I just remember, in Hollywood it doesn't snow. And its not as cold as it is here in Australia."

"Um...excuse me, but i froze my bum off when I went to Washington."

"Yeah, well, we're going to Hollywood, Los Angeles, where it doesn't snow." Dad exclaimed.

His phone dinged stating he received a text.

"Shit! I'm late for work!" He stated.

"Dad! No swearing!" I fake gasp.

"Ha ha, your funny. How about you listen to your own advise."

My dad is a movie director, probably why we're going to Hollywood. He gets a lot of money, and I'm an only child. I'm not one of those stuck up, overdramatic, selfish, whining, snobs. Well...at least I don't think I am.
