"Please tell me you're joking?" Stella said after looking at me for nearly
thirty minutes.

"I wish..." I said putting my face in the palm of my hands.

"Are you going to tell her."

"I don't think I need to." I spoke nervously.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm thinking about an abortion."

"Really Cynthia, thats not an option."

"And why is that?" I said raising my voice.

"Because that's not the right thing to do. You should tell Erica and talk to her about your next step."

"I dont even know Erica well enough to have this conversation with her."

"You knew her well enough to have sex with her."

I rolled my eyes and put my head down.

"Think about it Cyn. It's the right thing to do. Switch places with her and think about how you would feel if someone hide a baby from you."

Ughhhh... I hate to admit it but she is right🤦🏽‍♀️.

"I'm just scared of what she would think. It was my idea for us to keep going without a condom. I don't want her to think I trapped her.

"You just have to man up and handle you're business. You will never know until you talk to her."

"I guess your right."

"I know I am. But I'll see you later I have to go to work."

"Okay see you tomorrow."

She gave me a quick hug then left.

I don't know what my next move is going to be.

"Mia let me in." I said knocking on her door for the fifth time.

"No, go home."

"Nah, open the door." I said banging harder.

She snatched the door open and grit her teeth with anger as she looked at me.

"I'm not having sex with you Erica. You don't want a commitment."

"We established this already.. We don't need a commitment, we're fine. Stop trying to fix something that's not broken." I said trying to hug her.

"Move Erica, I don't want to have to keep competing with other girls for you're attention. That's not fair to me.

"Look, Mia I like you and all but you are really annoying me. I'm not ready for a commitment. If I'm not ready you shouldn't force me because I will only hurt you in the end. I might be a asshole sometimes but I do care for you."

She put her head down and I just looked at her not knowing what else to say.

"I understand everything you're saying but I can't do this with you Erica. It's just best we be friends. I'll see you later." She said trying to close the door but I grabbed her arm stopping her.
