What if on the day that our fates turn around
When the echo of a bell makes a glorious sound
We'll be granted ascension to the lights seen afar
Like the pilgrims that were guided by a beckoning star?

May then we finally soak in the light of day
Could we see the embryonic cells
Once holding our mortal selves
Amidst a terrestrial shell so far away?

This is our one and only desire
An escape from reason to conspire
We've seen reflections of lands we admire
Shunned are we to proceed and aspire?

Take us to Utopia!!
Take us to Utopia!!
Take us to Utopia!!
Take us to Utopia!!

Together we will face the fears
That men appalled for endless years
No longer will we need the smoke
Ripping our fragile lungs
No longer can I bear these aching sores
I'll watch the toxic life seeping from my pores

From our mouths spew black smoke
Keep your eyes shielded forever
For it will kill you; but it's the only reason you thrive
Your shining is transient, but agony's eternal
When I hear those shrill cries form in unison
I experience a long lost glimpse of empathy

There's something brewing under mankind
Something so divine
I'm here in Utopia, yet I yearn
For what, I cannot see, through our breath
Believe if you will, our actions are not of malevolence
Never leave the soil beneath your feet behind

This is my one and only desire
Watching this land dance in fire
For what here, did us, as humans, admire?
Finalization of grotesque art to inspire

Watch the fire, watch the fire
Let it devour your home
Watch the fire, watch the fire
Alas, black smoke becomes your home
