Start of the night with a sound,
One I can not fight.
That echo through my house,
And out over the town.
Looking out my window upon the night sky,
With its thousand twinkling eyes.
Knowing one was claimed,
Be you and I.
Yet I'm a distant memory to you,
Do you ever try to recall?
The times we held tightly,
As though reality was our lives.
But dreams are dreams,
And love often lust.
Open my heart to you,
And you just wanted to touch.
I guess that's why,
I scream out in pain.
Let the whole world know,
I'll never be the same.
