The winter air bites my lungs,
It's cold teeth make me cough.
Trying to breath is causing gasps,
My mind reverts to their hands clasped.
She had my in a daze,
He had me in a moment.
My heart beat for both at once.
This stupid childish moment.
I talked to each,
First separate, then At once.
To my surprise,
They knew of my farce.
I asked them what can I even do,
To love two people as equals.
Their response,
Stole my diamond hearts brilliance.
They kissed each-other,
Not mentioning me.
Their hands held the others,
While I started to weep.
"Run along little freak,
Your kinds not welcome"
They said with once voice,
I walked away with no hesitation.
The cold air bites my lungs,
I gasp for air but none will come.
Love turns to lose,
And my lose turns to wandering.
These breaths keep on hurting,
And my heart,
Once glowing,
Now beats only with necessary sparks.
