Take a deep breath dear,
Swallow your rage.
You think nobody cares,
So you rattle your cage.
Whisper the words that you still hear,
Hold your chin up out of fear.
Dads hand hurts so much,
Your mothers words aren't helping much.
Pretend it's all a bad dream,
Keep your anger away.
Find a way to escape,
Some other day.
If you decide,
To run away next time.
You'll find out that the world is full,
Of people looking for girls to harm.
Don't wait it out,
But don't act too late.
Find a way to tell someone,
And make it to a loving place.
