94) An Aurora Addition

FashionSnowLeopard: testing, testing...

FashionSnowLeopard: ooh! my profile's working, I can text you guys now!

FashionSnowLeopard: thanks, Tweak ;)

GamerGirl: It's no problem, Aurora ;)

GamerGirl: anyway, you're our newest Octonaut, it's high time you got an account

GoodAsNew: yeah, you've been here for almost a week now

FashionSnowLeopard: still, you guys have done so much for me already

FashionSnowLeopard: I love my new little workshop next to my room, Tweak, it's got all the materials and sewing machines and design canvas' I could ever need!

GamerGirl: I'm very glad you're here now, that means I don't have to try and come up with designs and make them myself

GamerGirl: Dashi has always helped out with the actual designs - she knows so much more about clothes and fashion than me - but now we have someone who can actually do all that properly

SaySeaweed: haha yep, it's certainly a relief

SaySeaweed: I love fashion myself but with all my duties on the Octopod as well as photography on the side, it's rare I get to do much with it

FashionSnowLeopard: well, it's nice to have someone else on the crew who I can brainstorm with

GoodAsNew: plus with our expanded crew, we've been exploring more and more different environments, and we'll be needing more than our deep sea suits to explore some areas

FashionSnowLeopard: that's what the professor said when he hired me

FashionSnowLeopard: I was a bit scared at first to apply

FashionSnowLeopard: but when he told me my main job would be to design suits for harsh conditions, I was so excited by the idea that I got out a notepad and sketched out three for him right there and then

SaySeaweed: yeah, the professor was very impressed by you when he was telling about the interviews he carried out

SaySeaweed: it's great to have another girl on the crew as well

GamerGirl: yep, and a snow leopard at that!

SaySeaweed: I love your coat, by the way, Aurora

FashionSnowLeopard: oh thank you, I'm told white with blue rosettes is quite unusual for a snow leopard ;P

SaySeaweed: and your eyes! They're so pretty - two different colours!

FashionSnowLeopard: yeah, heterochromia is also fairly unusual too!

SaySeaweed: shel was very excited when he saw them up close

SaySeaweed: plus the fact your name is influenced by the Aurora Borealis, he was very excited at that

SaySeaweed: plus plus the fact you're also into science... you can come and help us out in the lab when you're not busy with all your other stuff

GamerGirl: I think 'all your other stuff' might be a lot of things, considering

GamerGirl: you said you knew a bit about technology, right?

FashionSnowLeopard: yeah, I dabble :)

GoodAsNew: and you also said you want to learn some bandaging techniques, since you like to be prepared for any eventuality

FashionSnowLeopard: also true

FashionSnowLeopard: wow, I feel like you guys know more about me already than I know about any of you guys

GamerGirl: hey, don't worry, that'll come

GamerGirl: we're basically like one big family here, you'll soon figure us all out

GamerGirl: not to mention you'll have to give us a little concert... the Professor said that you like to sing in your spare time?

FashionSnowLeopard: he told you guys that? :o

FashionSnowLeopard: I might have to get practicing :)

SaySeaweed: being a fashion designer is so cool, though, Aurora

SaySeaweed: does that mean you can just design yourself some new clothes whenever you get bored of an old style?

FashionSnowLeopard: I guess so, yeah :)

FashionSnowLeopard: but back home I got kinda bored of just making designs for my friends and family, and I wanted a bit more of a challenge

FashionSnowLeopard: designing for dangerous environments sounds like the perfect one to me

GamerGirl: with us as your guinea pigs XD

FashionSnowLeopard: yep, that's the best part about it :D

GoodAsNew: I think the other crew members are already making a requests list for clothes they want you to try and design!

GoodAsNew: I heard Kwazii wondering whether you'd make him a full sea monster wardrobe XD

SaySeaweed: and I love anything pink, so...

GamerGirl: well, maybe you could make Shellington a joke kilt XD

FashionSnowLeopard: haha I'll have to order some new material
