After Music

Chapter 1- Stuck In My Own World

I've said that after music I would love to continue my study and become a surgeon. I smile to myself faintly as I'm sitting on my bed on my laptop applying for collage. Butterflies fill my stomach till there's no room left. "Stanford I'm gonna leave you all shook." I faintly say out loud.

I jump out of bed and start walking to my living room where I spot my mom and tell her I'm going out. She stops me and says, "You're not going out looking like that." Oops, I forgot to change, I thank her and then run to my room and change into a comfortable big black hoodie, black sweatpants, and superstars. I loved this outfit because it was so comfortable I could fall asleep instantly.

I ran out the front door and got into my car. I pushed the keys into the keyhole and began to start the car. I loved being home with my family but I also miss the memories I had as a musician. I pull out a Fifth Harmony CD and play it. Work From Home started playing and I was jamming out till I felt numb. A few minutes later I arrive at my destination and get out and go walking to the mall. I was greeted by fans but not as much as I have before.

It was weird but in a good way I could finally have the privacy of being a normal person instead of paparazzi being up my ass 24/7. I pull out headphones and sun glasses that I soon wear. I start to continue listening to Work From Home. It was such a bop it got me through the whole day. I went around just having fun I went into some stores like Hollister, Guess, Footlocker, H&M, and more. It was just fun having a day to myself shopping till I have no money left to spend and walking until my feet start to feel pain.

I see a text message that was sent to my phone as I look and see who sent it I'm surprised to see it was Dinah, she'd just been on tour and now is in Miami for a show she's doing tonight. All of the former band mates were still very close and we would hang out very often.

Dinah wanted to know if she could tag along at the mall. Yes I kinda did Snapchat a bunch of my friends. I reply with, 'yeah hurry up.' I smile and start walking to Tropical Smoothie it was in the mall and their smoothies were amazing. They would always make me feel great and give me a boost into the day.

I sit down and start sipping on my smoothie as I spot Dinah coming toward me. She still had a music carrier and has gotten very big over the past 2 years. She's made songs with Beyoncé and many other popular artists. Her songs were island vibes and R&B I loved them. I lock eyes with her outfit as I see she is wearing sunglasses and a hoodie that is covering her head and jeans and some nice heels.

I stood up and rush to her and we both fall into each others arms. Dinah was a really good huger but she wasn't the best huger in the group I was. We start to walk and she asks me how my day was going and I told her how I applied for Stanford she was astonished and was filled with excitement. I knew she was happy for me and I loved that.

We start walking into stores but as we walk around the mall once more fans start to realize that it's not 2 random woman it's Lauren Jauregui and Dinah Jane. I loved meeting old harmonizers it was so refreshing and it gave me a sense that we still were all in the band. We soon start walking and find ourselves in Macy's there we found a really familiar face Camila.
