"So Rayne, want to play?" he asked. My jaw dropped again. Ryder noticed, smiled again, and kicked me the ball. I stopped the ball with my hands. Ryder slapped his hand on his head.
"Ok Rayne. Obviously, you dont know how to play soccer. Use your FEET, CHEST, and HEAD. No hands." He said. I looked at him hard.
"Ryder?"
"Yeah?"
"Why are you talking so much?!" I asked. He stared blankly at me.
"No offense Rayne, but ive heard you talk so much more than i have."
"No, i meant, you NEVER talk. Well, no more than a few words. Why are you suddenly talking to me?" I asked. Ryder smiled.
"Do you mind it?"
"No. I dont mind."
"Then dont question it, Rayne." he winked. I nodded. I checked my watch. Dang!
"Hey, I should go before my mom freaks out." I said. Ryder nodded almost.....sadly?
"Ok. Um...Rayne?" he asked.
"Yeah?"i said, kicking back his ball.
"Ummm...never mind." He said, then smiled. I smiled and waved.
"Bye Ryder!"
"Bye Rayne."he waved back. I smiled and walked off. Wow...Ryder talked to me. Wait? Why am i making such a big deal about this! He's a P-L-A-Y-E-R. And Jasons BEST FRIEND! I cant even think about him. He's off limits.
When i got home, i opened the door and heard some guy laughs. I saw Jake, Matt, and Jason playing xBox. I rolled my eyes when i saw em.
"Hi Jake, and Matt." I said. Jason laughed.
"Awww, sweetie dont be mean! Especially not to your BIG crush." he laughed. I rolled my eyes, and went upstairs. I passed my mom, who was doing laundry.
"Hi Raynie!" she squealed. Yep...my mom squeals. Like a teenager.
"Hey Mom." I said, hugging her. She smiled and went back to her work.
"How was your day?" she asked.
"Good i guess. Yours?"
"Mine?! Is that a JOKE?!" she laughed. I smiled and kissed her cheek, then went to my room. I walked in my room to find Noreen, looking through my stuff intensly.
"Noreen?" i asked. She gasped and looked at me. Her face was tear stained.
"Whats wrong?" i asked. Noreen ran and hugged me and started crying.
"Rayne, i....i..." she began.
