KARD in Brazil

So this isn't a cliche and I know these types of chapters are annoying but I honestly need to talk about this because it's bothering me a lot.

So I think some of you are aware on the fact that KARD performed in Brazil either yesterday or today idk. They debuted in Brazil I believe. The fans there are amazing and so was the performance! They even got football jerseys for the Brazil team!!!

Now, there was some drama with the host. He apparently made fun of KARD or something, no clue what he said.

Because of this, thousands of Knetz (Korean netizens) start insulting all of Brazil, calling Brazilians racist and monkeys (calling us monkeys is being racist).

Now, Korea is great and all, but it has too many flaws, to the point where it's ironic how they are calling another country racist.

Korea has one of the most suicidal countries. I think it's in the top 10 idk.

Korea is well known for whitewashing idols because dark skin is "ugly" to them. Many Koreans bleach their skin in hopes for it to be lighter. They also are known for doing a lot of blackface, and making many racist remarks on tv shows.

Now, as a Brazilian, I would like to apologize for the remarks of the MC. They were rude and shouldn't have been said.

However, blaming the whole country for it and insulting us is just as bad, even more so since more then one person is doing it. I would much rather have one person make fun of me then thousands of the internet do so.
They are acting superior to Brazil, which isn't right.

I understand that Knetz don't represent all of Korea, but what they are doing is wrong. Korea can be pretty racist themselves. From blackface in music videos to tv shows to everyday life. They aren't as diverse of a country as America or Brazil, but they still shouldn't be this way.

Brazil isn't very racist considering we have a high population of Asians and many mixed races.

Just because I like Kpop doesn't mean I have to like Korea. Knetz are saying offensive stuff to the country where my family originates from. Although I was born in the States, my parents are from there, along with my whole family.
Like I'll admit Brazil is horrible in terms of economy because it's legit broke but still.
