Hold Tight (Chapter 15)
--- CAMILAS POV ---
"Prove it" someone yelled out of the crowd
"Yea come on, if you girls really are dating then, prove it" the guy said with a disgusting smirk in his face
I don't know if it was the alcohol giving me the boost of confidence or the fact that I had kissed Lauren earlier or if it was because I had watched so many people hitting on her at the party but, what I do know is that I didn't want to watch it anymore so I turned towards Lauren cupped her face and without hesitation I pulled her in to me. We were a few centimeters apart when I heard Lauren talking
"Fuckin' kiss me already" she said as she harshly grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to her before, crashing her lips against mine. I could taste the alcohol on her lips and it made for a very favorable taste. The butterflies, the freakin' butterflies that were erupting like a million volcanoes throughout my body was a feeling I felt like I would never get enough of. I heard a loud roar of cheering going on around us before another idiot began yelling
"They aren't even kiss. Her thumbs are covering their lips. someone yelled.
'Really dumbass, you wanna show? fine then I'll give you one' I thought to myself. I was about to deepen the kiss when I felt Lauren slightly pull away grab both of my arms gently moved them away from her face and down to her hips so that they were now resting on them. I then felt one of her hands lightly but, roughly playing the hairs on the back of my neck as her other hand began pulling me closer to her. I felt her slowing down and I was about to pull away when I felt her bite down on my bottom lip and tug at it before letting it go with a light popping sound. And that's when I heard the crowd go absolutely wild.
"Alright shows over guys, aye DJ Kay turn the music back up" I heard Clifford yell loudly. I hadn't even realized that the music stopped playing until now.
The music once again starting blasting and Lauren and I slowly let go. When we were finally separated I couldn't help but, to look in Lauren's eyes. Even at night under dim light her eyes were still the brightest most alluring to stare at.
I didn't take my eyes off of her and I couldn't help but, blush as she didn't take her eyes off of me.
"Well...well...well" Ally, Dinah and Normani took turns saying loudly. Scaring both Lauren and I
"Care to explain?" Dinah said crossing her arms smirking
"Oh come on Dinah leave the girls alone" Clifford said as he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind
"I'm gonna be sick" Mani said making a throw up sound in their Dinah and Cliffs direction
"Do you need me to show you to the restroom?" Clifford asked
"Negative, I just need to get away from this area" Mani said rolling her eyes and walking away
"She okay?" Troy asked from behind Ally
"I dunno I'll go check on her" Dinah said
"I don't think thats a good idea" Lauren said "I'll go"
"What? Why not?" Dinah asked
"Uh you know reasons" Lauren said before walking off
"Hey Cliff do you mind getting us some drinks?" Dinah asked flirtatiously
"Yea yea, I'll be back. You coming Troy?"
"Right behind you" Troy said
"I'll go to I really have to use the bathroom" Ally said following Beside Troy and Cliff
"So..." Dinah said when we were alone
"What?" I said already knowing what she was getting at
"BITCHHHHHHH!!!!!! I know you're dying inside. That was heated as fuck. I mean I was getting hit just looking at it"
"Wait you watched us?" I asked shocked
"Duh Bihh I'm the motherfuckin' captain off SS Camren" Dinah said excitedly
"Oh gosh... here we go" I said face palming myself
"Don't worry I won't ask about anything else until tomorrow" Dinah said laughing
"You are so nosy" I said laughing
"Nope. Not nosy I just like to know roughly about 100% of everything that goes on" I said making us both laugh
"Ha exactly NO-SY" I said slapping her arm
"Hey is Mani acting weird towards you?" Dinah asked
"No. Why?" I asked
"Hm" she said making a sad face
I let a few more seconds pass before I realized that she wasn't going to say anything else
"Is she acting weird towards you?" I asked
"I-Well I mean kinda... or at least to me she is" Dinah said shaking her head and looking down
"Why do you think that?"
"I dunno something just seems off, it's like she doesn't want to be around me or something" Dinah said
I felt bad because I knew the reason behind why Mani was acting different towards Dinah but, Mani had told Lauren and I not to say anything no matter how bad we wanted to.
"Do you want me to talk to her?" I asked
"No it's okay" Dinah said. I looked at Dinah and noticed that she was staring in Normani and Lauren's direction and I noticed them staring back before Mani rolled her eyes and looked away.
"On second thought yes please talk to her" Dinah said with a even sadder expression on her face
"Of course I will" I said hugging her "Now let's get some more drinks" I said trying to lighten up the mood
"Oh no here we go" Dinah said laughing
"What?" I asked
"Girl! Every time you get a little alcohol in your system you want more" she said
"Isn't that the affect. You know drinking being addicting and all and getting you drunk" I said
"Are you drunk?" she asked with a funny facial expression
"No" I said "A little tipsy maybe but, not drunk" I said laughing
"Mhm sure" Dinah said laughing as she grabbed my hand and began guiding us through the crowd.
