The handle moved all the way down and the door opened. I froze in shock as my heart beat accelerated. I can't believe it. I can escape!
I slowly pulled the door open and stepped outside. It was dark and quiet outside, signalling it must be very late. I took one last look behind me to make sure that he didn't notice, and then I ran. I ran as fast as I could in attempt to get away. The only problem is, I have no idea where I am.
