Losing Sanity

Up there is the sky
Blue, white, bright
On the left is an oak tree
Calm, swaying in the breeze
On my right is a hut
Wooden, looking cozy and might
Down below is my shadow
Slowly hiding under my toes
Fearing the rising noon sun
Leaving me alone under the search light of fun
I stood steady
I gulped and sighed
Alone again naturally
What is there to hide?
Life is touch and go
Fighting to stay afloat
Getting caught up in the middle
In between reality and riddles
Mirage, that's what it is
My sudden sanity on the verge of release
Whimpering like a girl on the edge
Of bursting her self while getting submerged
Gasping, grabbing for whatever there is
Arching her back to reach out far
There it goes, she has gone insane
Lost in her tracks
Gravity played the free-falling game
Tears rolled, lips bit
Head thrown back
Reality strikes cruelly
