AUTHOR'S NOTE: I would like to apologize a million gazillion times for not posting chapters for a while. I've been in Florida and there was NO internet.           Holy...hell.

          What the fuck just happened?

          The new bad boy of the town asked me out yesterday? And I said yes?

          I mean he's hot as hell, don't get me wrong, I just don't know him that well. But then again, maybe the date WOULD actually be a good thing. I guess there's only one way to find out.

          I have to go on that date.

          As I make my final decision to go on the date, I look down at my phone and text Alex, saying:

          UHHH. REALLY? WOW. OK. WHAT DID YOU HAVE IN MIND FOR THIS DATE?

          Not even two seconds later, I get a response from him that says:

          WELL. I WAS THINKING ABOUT TAKING YOU TO DINNER, THEN AFTERWARDS WE COULD GO SEE A MOVIE?

          I respond:

          UMMM...YEAH. THAT SOUNDS GR8.

          He texts back, slightly confused:

          GR8? WHAT IN THE HELL DOES THAT STAND FOR?

          I can't help but smile at his obliviousness, and say:

          HA. IT STANDS FOR GREAT. MY BAD.

          He sends another reply, saying:

          NO. IT'S ALL GOOD. I'M THE ONE THAT'S FROM A DIFFERENT PLANET REMEMBER? I'M JUST GONNA HAVE TO CATCH UP ON THE "TEXT LINGO" OR WHATEVER YOU CALL IT. LOL

          I then say:

          YEAH U R. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN UR LESS OF A PERSON. YEAH...UR DIFFERENT, BUT AREN'T WE ALL? THAT'S WHAT MAKES US...WELL...US.

          He takes a moment to reply, but his message eventually sends, saying:

          UMM. YEAH. SO I'LL PICK U UP @ 8 TM NITE?

          I respond:

          YEAH. SOUNDS AWESOME. OH. AND JUST FOR THE RECORD...UR CATCHING UP ON OUR "TEXT LINGO" PRETTY QUICKLY. LOL

          He then replies, saying:

          I GUESS UR RIGHT. SEE U L8ER, DUDE. UHHH. I MEAN BROOKE.

          I say:

          LOL. U CAN CALL ME DUDE. I'LL BE CALLING U DUDE ALSO. ALONG WITH NEW GUY. HEH HEH.

          He then says:

          ALRIGHT. COOL. GN, NOVA.

          I end the conversation, saying:

          NITE NEW GUY.

          After our texting session, I finally lay down and close my eyes. I fall asleep dreaming about all the things that can possibly happen on our date.
