"We're in. Me, him, her, her, and....him." Spike agreed point at Adam then Bree, them me, then Leo. I pointed back at myself and looked myself up and down.
"Her is not in, her very much doesn't want to be in."
"Willow, in football you get to tackle people." Leo informed, my eyes went wide and I looked over at the football players.
"Her is now considering."
"You and your band of nobodies vs my fighting Dingos."
"Who is she calling a nobody? I got half of a bff necklace today and Wills got a birthday invite." Bree scoffed as he held her necklace out for Leo to see and gestured to me.
"Winner takes the table and all the glory." Perry finished
"Oh, ma'am as much I'd like to flex my football fanciness," Leo interrupted, "Girls soccer has the field tonight."
"Ah just as well I can't condone such a violent game on school grounds. So let's take it to the dog park across the street." Perry declared pointing out the door. Her and her football boys cheered as they left the cafeteria. Spike made faces at their retreating figures.
"Am I the only on who's going to need a fresh change of pants before we start?" Leo asked and Adam raised his hand.
"That's disgusting!" I complained.

After a stressful three hours or looking for appropriate football protection in the lost and found, the five scrawny, underdeveloped team, (us, even though we have bionics and could cheat, something tells me it won't end well) vs, the official varsity football team for the high school. Very even. Leo stood looking up at one of the football players then backed up to us. "This doesn't seem fair." He decided.
"Seems fair to me. Let's get it on!" Perry shrugged and blew her whistle.
"Let's huddle." Leo called to us, taking a few steps back.
"Huh?" "Pardon me?" "I huddled before I got here." "Not that close yet man."
"Oh, man, you guys don't know how to play football. Okay, we need to stop that team from getting into our end zone and scoring a-"
"hike." A football player ran past us with the ball into the 'goal', one football player tackled Leo causing Leo to let out an unflattering shriek.
"Touchdown." Leo finished. After getting checked over and making sure he was still fit to play, we were ready to go.
Score 7, Dingos, Alpha Dogs, 0.
"All right, Adam you squat down right here, and when I say 'hike' your going to pass the ball between your legs to my hand that will be right here." Leo explained while moving Adam to position and hovering his hand between Adam's legs.
