Can I Fall Back on You? (Karma Akabane x Reader)

Fireworks! (4th of July special)

After 20 minutes I finally decided on a f/c tantop with a c/c (coordinating color) crop top and s/c+s/t (shorts color + short type). I got myself ready and then wore my outfit. I surprisingly had 15 minutes to spare so I decided to go through Instagram. I constantly kept glancing at the time and once it was 18:00 I closed my phone and checked out the window. No one was there as expected, it did only just turn 18:00... I really need to calm down on my obsession with always having to know the time...

"Nyeeeooowww!" I stared at Fc/n (female cat name) as she yowled at the front door. "Keehhh!" Mc/n (male cat name) hissed at Fc/n for waking him up from his nap. "What is it Fc/n? Is someone at the door?"

As if on cue the doorbell rang.

That answers my question! I put my foot in front of the door so Fc/n wouldn't run outside and I opened the door.

"Yo, Y/n~neko." Karma said. "Hey Cherry!" I moved out of the way letting him enter my house. "Keehhh!!" Both Fc/n and Mc/n hissed and bolted upstairs. "Y/n~neko, there's something wrong." Karma said. "Huh? What is i-" He placed something on my head. "Cat ears!" He grinned. "Do you keep a spare cat ear headband on you at all times?" I asked readjusting the headband. "Only when I know I'm gonna be seeing you." He answered. "Okay then..." Someone really needs to give him an actual cat... I can't be his cat furever!

"Is my Y/n~neko still loyal~" Karma asked looking down at me. Why must he be an entire foot taller than me... "I'm a cat not a dog dammit!" I shouted kicking his knee. "So you accepted it?" He smirked. "God dammit!" I shouted.

We were at Hanatoba park once it was 19:00 and... We were the only ones there... "I told you that we didn't have to come at the exact time." Karma sighed. "At least we get the first shots on everything~" Why must I have the urge to be on time...

Koro Sensei, Jelabitch~sensei, and surprisingly Karasuma~sensei were inside the park. Koro Sensei appeared in front of us. "L/n~san, Karma~kun you're both here early!" He exclaimed. "Ehh??!! But you said to be here at 19:00!" I exclaimed. "Oh.. Did I say that? I may have told you both to come here half an hour early on accident..." Koro Sensei's face turned pink. "Why just us?!" I shouted. "I need to set up some remaining things! Feel free to do whatever nyuurrfufufu! And nice cat ears L/n~san!" Koro Sensei sped around the park but stopped at a tree and took something out.

"It's a hentai magazine." Karma whispered. "....That damn perv pastry liar octopus...." I gritted my teeth clenching my fist. "I wouldn't be surprised if no one shows up to be honest." Karma said. "Why not?" I questioned. "Remember how most of the girls in class shipped us?" He asked. "Yes... So... This was a set-up?!" Karma nodded, "Set-up as a date." Karma said. "A-A d-date?" I stuttered. "I guessss. Welll will you go on a date with me then~?" He asked. Did he ask what I... So he actually did have a crush on me? Oh my God! I knew it! "I guesss~" I answered trying to sound as normal as possible.

Karma then interlocked his fingers with mine and he was looking away from me but I saw red all over his face. "Oh~ Is someone blushing? That's a surprise to this neko to see her master blushing~" I teased. Yeah, my face felt really hot but I had to tease him. "That sounds sooo wrong. Like, sounds kinky." Karma commented. "Wh- BAKA!" I positioned myself to kick his knee again. "Calm down Y/n~neko!" Karma started petting my head. I accept my fate... I'm a cat-girl... Soon enough I'll have a tail...

How am I a cat without a tail? I don't land on my feet most of the time hence breaking my arm in the beginning of the year... Well, at least I'm not a dog because...

Like Karma said no one had come and Karasuma~sensei ended up leaving after Jelabitch~sensei started getting drunk.... Karma and I were on a tree branch just talking like usual since Koro Sensei didn't set anything up other than decorations. But then Karma suggested we play a game...

A game where we go through each others phone gallery of pictures of ourselves... The objective is to get through all the pictures first but you can't just scroll through the pictures... The winner gets to order the loser to do anything they want... Easy!

"Is your phone password still the same?" He asked. "Yeah, did you change your's?" I asked. "Nope." We traded phones. I entered his password, 'Y/nf/nf/nf/n' (favorite number ex. Yumi888).

Once I entered the gallery... The first picture, a shirtless Cherry Bakabane. He is trying to make me lose this game... Plus, I don't even take pictures of myself that often! My phone is full of pictures of my cats!

I went through alot of pictures on his phone... 60% of them was of him shirtless, 20% of them were of him without a shirt and only in shorts, 19% of them were normal pictures, and the last picture was... Of him winking with the words 'I love you Y/n~neko💖' I heard a loud popping sound and looked up to see fireworks. "The fireworks started I guess." I mumbled. I turned my head to look at Karma his face red. "So Y/n~neko I got through first, can I-" My face was about to overheat but I nodded shyly knowing what he was gonna ask.

He leaned in so our lips met. And I knew fireworks were also going off inside of me...

I was oblivious to my own feelings and his. I never stopped liking him since first year and it turns out my first year crush likes me back... More than I like him probably...
