I watched Nico talk to Percy and Annabeth. Annabeth had a pleased smile and Percy just looks confused, as always. I wonder what he's telling her? But I can't focus on that, the way the sun is hitting Nico is making him look amazing. Yes, I know Nico is my best friend. Yes, I know I shouldn't have these feelings for my best friend. But it's not like I can help it; he's so smol and precious. Too bad I don't have a chance with him..... I'm taken out of my thoughts when Nico walks over to me.
"Hey, Will. Wanna get out of here?" He asked.
"Sure," I say. "Where to?"
"I have a nice cave in the forest."
"Alright let's go."
***TIME SKIPZ***
We get to the cave and there's a whole bunch of board games, cards, and snacks. Kinda like a bro-cave.
We start playing cards and we're like right next to each other. He catches me staring, but I don't look away. I'm too captivated by him. I'm hardly in control of myself and I lean in and kiss him. He doesn't kiss back. 'Oh my gods, Will, you idiot. He's straight.' I think as I jump up and run back to my cabin. It's so weird being here alone, but all my siblings are working in the infirmary. Nico storms in looking pissed.
"I'm-I'm Sorry I-" I started.
"Will Solace, you fracking tease! Why'd you run away?"
"You're straight, and I thought I ruined everything." This is where Nico started laughing like crazy.
"Me. Ha. Straight. Solace. I'm about as straight as a rainbow slinky."
"I....Oh."
"Now. Get over here." He said. I walked over and he grabbed my shirt.
***** And let's just say everything was a lot less pg after that.
