Morticians Daughter

"Do you want to cut the cord?" she asked Andy he smiles and goes towards her and cuts the cord while she fixed up everything with me I watched as Andy took pictures of our baby girl he was so happy then they walked over with the baby and handed her to me and I looked at her beautiful face she couldn't be any perfect she has just stopped crying and her eyes were closed I was hoping she would have Andy's blue eyes "Isn't she perfectly beautiful?" Andy asked "yes" I said I smiled as I looked at her and then my dad comes in with everyone else "Oh my gosh she is beautiful" my dad said so did Lacey "What's her name?" Lacey asks I look at Andy and smile "Riley Nichole" I said we loved that name so much it had to be her's "It's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl" Andy said I smiled "Can I hold her?" my dad asked "Of course" I say I hand her to him and he just looks at her my dad was holding his first grandchild he was holding his only grand daughter I loved the thought of hearing that and him showing his buddies pictures saying "Yeah she's my grand daughter" he hand Riley to Lacey and she couldn't help it but a tear ran down her face she handed my Riley and I looked at Andy and handed her to him then it looked like she was smiling and I took a picture of him and her smiling he looked so cute holding his daughter and I was still surprised that I was a mom.

I have been a mom for 8 hours "I am so happy to be a grandpa I will be here in two months for the summer and make sure to visit" he said "We'll by the time you come it'll be time for the wedding" I said "Oh right I forgot well I can't wait love you" he said "love you too" and we all said goodbye and they left they took Riley into the nursery and bring her in tomorrow and I will leave about a couple hours after they bring her back in tomorrow I am so tired and Andy was already asleep and I lay the bed down a little and I feel myself fall asleep.

I ask he laughs "yeah" he said then a nurse walks in "How do you feel?" she asks me "I feel great" I say she smiles "well good because you're ready to come go home" she said with a smile she comes over to me and takes out the IV and puts a bandage where it was inserted and she helped me up while I got used to using my feet and I go into the bathroom and I change into this www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=11291... was gone he must of went to go get the car the nurse was in the room with a wheelchair I grab Riley and I sit in the chair as she pushes me into the elevator and out of the hospital where Andy was standing waiting we got to the car and I hand him Riley and he puts her in her car seat and helps me in the back with her we thank the nurse and Andy gets in the drivers side and starts driving. We finally get to the house and Andy helps me out and he gets Riley in and we walk in the house Andy and I go upstairs and into her room I feed her and then Andy rocks her to sleep he comes downstairs with the baby monitor and I am tired "I am going upstairs for a nap will you be OK for an hour or two?" I ask "Yeah have a good nap" he said and kissed my head I go upstairs into our bed it's so comfy I easily fall asleep into that big cold comfy bed
