Louis had never stood up so quickly in all of his life. In fact, when he leapt up from the chair, every bone in his body cracked and every person in the room saw the alarmed look on his mostly expressionless face.

How could he have possibly forgotten about not only Erin but Liam as well? If he remembered correctly, Liam and Erin were both in the bottom compartment at the time of the incident, but if that was the case, then there was a high chance that they could've escaped the most damage that the storm must have caused. Louis was certain that their boat was in ruins now, what with all of the rain and high waves. The boat's survival over such a disaster would be far more than a miracle.

"On deck, now!" Louis shouted, the heavy ounce of urgency hiding the cracks in his voice.

He watched his comrades leave the dining room in order to make their way to the storm's heart, and followed on behind them. He ignored those who were not part of his crew, but a hand grabbed him. Louis turned around, expecting to see Blackbeard, but his gaze fell on Harry.

The man had a regretful look in his eyes, a look of someone who had made a grave mistake that they did not want anyone to know about. He looked guilty but was quick to tell Louis why.

"I locked the door." He said, voice shaking, "They're locked in. If the boat has sunk, then because of me, they must have gone down with it."

His hand trembled on Louis' shoulder until Louis had to brush it off to avoid getting as anxious as Harry was. His lover's eyes were wide, pupils retracted to nothing but small dots in the poorly lit room. He looked so nervous and shocked that he looked quite mad. Yes, Louis could see that if Harry were to lose people he loved again and again, he'd eventually become insane.

"-Louis, I killed them. They cannot escape. There is no way out."
