Isabelle Williams P.O.V.
I woke up to my alarm clock playing "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran. I rolled out of bed lazily and realized that I have to go to the dreaded place, school. Today was the last day of school, then next week it's off to California with my best friend, Ellie. I chose my outfit for the day, which consisted of a light pink tank top that said 'LIFE' on it, some shorty shorts, and a pair of white nude sandals, and went to the bathroom to shower. After my shower I got dressed and did my makeup and hair. I don't wear a lot of makeup, just foundation and some mascara, and I curled my long hair. Once I was ready I went downstairs to grab an apple and wait for Ellie to come pick me up. I switched on the TV and my mom walked in.
"Good Morning, Love!" She greeted
"Mornin' Ma!" I replied
"Are you excited about California?"
"Absolutely!"
After about 10 minutes Ellie finally arrived. I grabbed my bag and went to the front door. I told my mom I was leaving and went to her car.
"Hey, Izzy! Ready for the last day?" Ellie said as I got in the passenger seat of her car.
"Yup! Then it's off to California!" I said excitedly.
"Maybe we'll run into the MAGCON boys, and me and Cam will get married!" she said.
"That's totally realistic!" I replied with sarcasm.
"Hey! You never know!"
When we got to school we went to our lockers and got our books. We headed to our first class which was, History. I've always hated History Class, the teacher is too strict and boring. Waiting for the hour long class to end is like waiting for Christmas! I went into the room and sat in my seat in the back. Since the teacher wasn't there yet I decided to get my phone out and go on twitter for a while. When the teacher came in I put my phone away and pulled my history book out. Here goes the last day...
*Skip the school day*
The bell rang, indicating that the last class was over. Everyone rushed out of the class to start their summer break. I went to the parking lot to meet Ellie. I hopped into the car. "SUMMER BREAK!!!" she yelled as soon as I sat down.
"Geez, Ellie! You scared me!" I laughed.
"Sorry, I'm just really excited!" she laughed.
"Me too!"
"Hey Izzy?"
"Yeah?"
"It's summer!"
