( One day I was texting with my niece, Cascading_Shadows , when I sent a poem I made and we decided to create a story by poems. Top part is written by me. )

Hush little sister, dad's in a mood,
Hush little sister, better not be rude.
He's grabbed the bottle,
Run at full throttle.
I'll stand guard at your door,
and you will bruise no more.

Hush little sister, dad's in a mood,
Hush little sister, better not be rude.
Hush little sister, you don't see it,
Hush little sister, not one bit.
Not one scar,
Just don't tell he's been at the bar.
It will be just fine,
Please don't you whine.

Hush little sister, you don't see it,
Hush little sister, not one bit.
Hush little sister, he's brought the belt,
Hush little sister, it might leave a welt.
Just say "Yes, dad."
And he won't be mad.
Just, please don't cry.
Whatever you want, I'll buy.

Hush little sister, he's brought the belt.
Hush little sister, cause it won't be felt.
Hush little sister, and listen to me,
Hush little sister, and safe you will be.
This information may chill you to the bone,
But what you see there is my headstone.
Hush little sister, it won't happen to you,
Hush little sister, but run if he says boo.

( This next part was written in the POV of this little sister. It was written by Cascading_Shadows. [Cascade here. Just letting you know that I was tired and hadn't known how to poem very well, lol.]

And while I did stay silent in the dead of the night,
I knew his blank gaze would find me, inducing fright.
He got me sister, and I agreed to what he said,
"Father, father, my sister isn't dead,"
But I knew the truth, it couldn't have been clearer.
And in the mirror, everything was scarred, ripped, and torn into frays.
Sister, you've been gone for days.
And still I sat, dead in his sight.
I refused to move, using all my might.
Bottle in hand, blank stare hardened with age,
He beat me until I joined you in the haze.
You said you'd be there.
You said...
