Bad Dreams (Lucas)

If you do a Lucas fanfiction it should be in the future when he's a bit older and calls his girlfriend because he's having nightmares about everything that he went through in the movie.

Y/n woke up to the sound of her phone ringing. She wiped her eyes and grabbed her phone. She winced at the brightness but saw Lucas's name across the screen. She was then wide awake as she answered.

"Hello?" She asked and she could hear quiet crying. "Y/n... can you please come over?" She heard him say sadly and her heart ached. "Of course. I'll be over in 10!" She exclaimed and he sniffled. She hung up and grabbed her shoes and a jacket.

She grabbed her car keys and headed over. She pulled into the driveway and hopped out. She decided not to knock on the door so she wouldn't wake up everyone else. She knew they kept a hidden key under one of their plants.

She grabbed it and unlocked the door trying not to make too much noise. She closed the front door quietly and headed upstairs. She went to his door and knocked softly.

She heard a weak voice say, "Come in." She opened the door and cracked the door. She walked over and saw Lucas with his head in his pillow. "Hey." She said and sat down on his bed. He sat up, he had red eyes and wet tears on his cheeks.

"Aw, baby." She said and pulled him into her arms. "I keep hearing her screams." Lucas said softly and Y/n rubbed his hair. He was talking about a winter vacation to Thailand that him and his family had went about 3 years ago.

His mom and him had gotten separated from his dad and two brothers when a tsunami had hit. He was put to the test of survival, his mom barely made it. But, now he keeps having nightmares of his Mom's screams and not being able to help her as much as he wished he could have.

"Will you stay with me?" He asked wiping his cheeks where left over tears resided. Y/n nodded and got under the covers with him.
