Break up (Peter Parker)

"Y/n, I think we should break up." Peter looked into her eyes as he held her hands. She let go of his hands and put them into her lap. "What, why?" She asked, Peter looked down "I just don't feel it anymore." He sighed. Y/n got up and Peter stayed on the couch. She started to pace around the room.

"Peter, I just don't understand." Her voice cracked and tears welled up in her eyes. Peter got up to comfort her but she moved away from him. "Why are you doing this?" She yelled as a tear went down her cheek. "I'm in love with someone else." He didn't look her in the face as he said that. He just couldn't.

"Get out!" She yelled pointing to the door. "Y/n-" he started but she cut him off. "I said get out!" She yelled again her tears now falling like a waterfall. Peter opened the door and slammed it on his way out. Y/n sat on the couch and couldn't wrap her head around what had just happened.

-One week Later-
She had not left the house in a whole week. She sat on the couch just watching movies. But, she missed him so much that it hurt. She missed when he would cuddle her when she was stressed out.

She just missed him being there for her. She then heard a soft knock on her front door. She paused Wall-E and got up.

She walked over to the door and looked through the peep hole. She saw Peter standing there looking flustered. She took a deep breath and unlocked the door.

She swung it open and they just stared at each other. Peter finally broke the silence, "Can I come in?" you nodded.

He walked in and walked over to the couch. Y/n closed the door and followed him. They both sat down and she looked at him with curiosity. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I-uh just really miss you." He put his hands through his hair. "Well you should have thought about that before you broke up with me." She snapped back at him.

"Y/n-" he started but couldn't continue."I thought you loved someone else?" You questioned giving him a glare.

"Look, Y/n I'm sorry. I'm so stupid." He said moving closer towards you. "Tell me about it." You mumbled and turned away from him.

"Y/n, I just didn't want you to get hurt. I was scared if my enemies found out my true identity they would hurt you." He said sadly looking down. You turned back towards him.

"Enemies? True identity? What is that supposed to mean?" You say trying to catch his eye. "This may be hard to believe but, I'm Spider-Man." He sighed feeling the weight off his shoulders.

Her eyes widened. He looked at her waiting for her to say something and when she didn't he got up about to leave. But she grabbed his wrist pulled him back towards hers.

He gasped a little and came face to face to her. She pulled him into a hug and she felt at home. He wrapped his arms around her waist as she buried her face in his chest.

"Y/n, I'm so sorry that I said I loved someone else. I just didn't know how else to go about it. So I thought that would really make us break up." He said sadly and pulled away from the hug, Y/n doing the same. She pecked his cheek.

"Peter, it's ok. You are so amazing. You go out and protect the city. I'm happy to have you as my boyfriend." She smiled and he smiled back.

"I love you Y/n" he smirked. "I love you more Peter." She kissed him on the lips, happy to feel his soft lips on hers again.
