I never felt the fireworks everyone talked about.
I never wanted to hungrily hold you against a wall and press my lips to yours.
I never wanted to do anything they show people doing in tv shows and movies.
However,
I did want to hold your hand.
I wanted to press my leg against yours and lean my shoulder on you.
I wanted to stare into your eyes and watch them light up when you smiled.
I never felt the fireworks everyone talked about.
I did feel the warmth of a home, though.
