-Luna Malfoy-

"That's a Time Turner," she explained.

"Whoa! Wait, let's take this with us, maybe it can help us with Rosalind's case."

"Okay, now we should get out of here before Lysa suspects anything."

Then we tip toed upstairs, fixed the bed and ran off to my room. Separating rooms had been a refreshing change for both of us (and mind you, spacious) and I realized that I was turning into mom as I looked into the room, full of books concerning magical studies. It was like a person in their 40s suddenly finding that one white hair and wanting to scream.

"Lu, Lu! I am saying something!"

It was my turn to be caught off guard. "Sorry."

"Nevermind, I was suggesting that we shouldn't try it here but at Hogwarts. For all I've seen from movies, time goes faster while time traveling so that it can cause quickly the consequences in the present."

"That might be true. Yet, we have missed a point. Don't we have to find which orphanage was Rosalind in, or if she was actually taken by grandpa?"

"I suppose we could at least try asking to Dad, in a subtle way for sure."

Subsequently, we watched Wall-E while waiting for our parents to return from work. We had just started painting each other's nails when the bell ringed. We ran to greet them as our wet nails quickly dried with us shaking them in the air, full of excitement.

"Hey sweeties, how's your day been?" Hermione asked with a beam.

"Nice, we didn't do much," I lied. For me, the day was well spent action-wise.

"Can we talk at the dinner table? I'm starving!" I loved that my dad was so blunt.

We agreed arduously and launched to the dining table. Lysa came down too, placing Brian to his toddler seat. She then exited the room and dropped back in with plates of Beef Wellington. In the interim, I made an effort to get information beneficial for our discovery.

"Thinking of how much fun we have as 3 siblings, wasn't it a bit sad to grow up as an only child, dad?"

"I was quite spoiled so I can't say I minded it. On the other hand, what you said isn't entirely true. I had a adopted sister, Ava Wilkins, when I was about ten but she died in less than a year due to a terminal disease."

Why was he lying? Why didn't he want to confess it was Rosalind? We exchanged worried glances with Stella. An odd quietude filled the air, so Stella took action to fix it, she had the best poker face.

"Why did your parents adopt her?"

Dad really seemed to think about it, he scratched his head and then replied.

"Frankly, I don't remember. All I recall is that she was a witch in a muggle orphanage in Alderbury, which is actually really close to here."

"That's strange. Anyways, great food as always!" Stella said as she gulped out another piece of the meat, emitting a voice of joy.

Then dad went off for some incomplete work, mom and Brian settled into a couch to watch the latest episode of Adventure Time and we went back to my bedroom, taking this opportunity.

"Did you hear that? He said he didn't remember! And who is Ava Wilkins?" I questioned the second we got in.

"It might be her muggle name. Other than that, I found the verb 'remember' interesting in particular. Have you heard about The Memory Charm?"

"Yes! But why would grandpa use it on Draco? Wait a second! There was The Legilimency Spell too, perhaps he was worried someone would break into dad's mind, inquiring about what happened to her."

"That's logical. Under the circumstances, we should stay in Hogwarts in Easter, thus we won't be missing any lessons and assuming time runs slower in present, we could surely handle The Operation Unicorn in a few days."

I winked at her usage of the name.

"Lets just hope that this goes unnoticed by our parents."

Fortunately, they didn't and during the time until Easter, Stella had another successful sneak-in to the library. Furthermore, she found a record of the time turners, in which mom was mentioned! It was probably meant to be a secret but I think the record was kept by Albus Dumbledore, who mom was really keen on. The enthralling part in this was that, it was said that she probably turned the device 3 times to go an hour back and save a creature, with noting that these normally shouldn't be used for a matter of life and death, as it creates too many loopholes. Yet, this helped us make a brand new plan: We were going to calculate how many times to turn it to get mom's squad from their 7th grade, travel back into 1990 with them and save Rosalind there.

And when we actually sat down to do in the first day of Easter, it turned out that we should turn it 341640 times just to go to the Golden Trio's time (2010-1997=13 , 3x24x365x13= 341 640).

"I can continue when you get tired," I offered, chuckling.

She returned it with a glare and that was the debut of an hour's turning. I had taken the shift after 150k and both our hands were sore by the time. The atmosphere slowly changed and we were in the Great Hall. Before we could hide somewhere, the exact three people we were looking for rushed in. So without another option we moved closer to them. Lastly, the boy with the eyes of his mother stared into me curiously and asked, "Who the hell are you?"

I hope you are enjoying it so far! If you got a bit confused, here's some explanation: You probably remember that Hermione said she was about to turn 31 (and does shortly after girls start school), so that makes the year 2010 by 1979+31. Interesting fact, Draco (5 June 1980) was 17 when Stella was born (15 August 1997) since I clarified some things about Fleur (approx. 30 October 1977) in Forget Me Never, making her 19 when pregnant.

And I have tried to hint in the previous chapters that they never had a final battle because The Golden Trio never found out about the horcruxes. Also, since Cedric was the winner of The Triwizard Tournament but got killed, Voldemort never rose again. So that's how Harry and his friends were casually having a holiday in Hogwarts.
