My First & Last

Rose "pov"

Rinnnnggg Rinnnnggg Rinnnggg ...... "urghh ... who the heck is calling me nine in the morning!" I yell while getting up  trying my hardest not to fall from bed ,getting my phone that was on the nightstand lazily to answer it, I hate it when someone disturbs my sleep

"Hello" I answer trying my best not to sound rude .... well i really wanna be...
"Is this rose Lawrence?" the lady on the other line asked with a stern tone, god...!
"yes  it's rose, May I know who are you?" I ask adjusting myself into sitting position trying to clear my throat without any sound ,don't want her to know I just woke up, maybe it's an important call
"well you've been hired for the Job at accountant department at the maxin&co company be here tomorrow morning at nine sharp" she said with the same stern tone, I mean I don't know the lady but am sure am not going to like her.
"okay I'll be there thank you?" I reply trying to sound confident and cool

once she hangs up I walk straight to the mirror and stare at my reflection ,i close my eyes and slap my cheeks and I open my eyes to see the red marks on my cheeks are there
"oh my god this is not a dream!" I say excitedly to myself while the girl in my reflection has the biggest smile ever ,maybe things are finally going my way

Well .... let me start from introducing myself
My name is rose Lawrence am 22 years old ,I just graduated college and got my degree in the accountant major with the top grades. Actually I was on top of the department
I live in New York, when My parents died in car accident in fourth grade I moved to live in with Mr and Mrs.smith, Mrs.Smith, Tina is my mom's childhood friend and her husband Ross. They have two kids, Well not kids I mean the youngest is 20 years old Jake and the oldest is 25 Sam
They are the nicest and the most caring people I've ever met, They were there for me when my parents died and supported me in everything. Am so grateful for them I would give my life for them without a blink
they treated me like their own daughter But now I want to try and live depending on myself I want to move to my own apartment, Ross and Tina supported my decision but only if I came to visit every week, it's not like I don't like living here it's just I want to dig my own way in life I can't just keep on counting on them for the rest of my life, they have done enough for me for the past years and besides am twenty-two am not a kid anymore

In the last few weeks I've been interviewed for a job in four different companies in NK and now I can't believe I've been hired in the most famous company in the entire world, The company is in everything I mean from hotels to malls to marketing and shipping all around the world, I will be working in the main company here in new York

I head running down stairs to the kitchen, I found Sam there holding a cup of coffee looking breathtaking as always
"wow look who's up, Am dying to know what's behind that huge smile?" Sam asks me with amused tone while walking towards me smiling, oh god that smile would make any girl melt in heartbeat.

Sam is really handsome with his sky blue eyes and dark blond hair ,his sharp nose and tall fit body, he looked perfect and he was perfect, adding to his perfect personality, he is every girl's dream prince

"hmm well I just got a call saying I got hired in the maxin&co company and I could start from tomorrow morning at nine" I answer him smiling, I just can't believe this is really happening to me, this is a life time chance ,anyone would kill to get in that company
" that's great rose am happy for you, but I don't know about you waking up each morning at 7" Sam says chuckling and then winked at me before drinking some of his coffee, He sure knows how to make me blush
"Yeah will see about that, Anyway what are you doing here this morning?" I asked him feeling embarrassed trying to change the subject
he knew about my sleeping habits and I can't forget the day when I kicked him in the stomach when he tried to wake me up, he held it against me for a while saying am a sleeping monster, unfortunately I can't argue with that
"well I've been caught up in work for the last week and I barely saw any of you so I took a day off, couldn't wait another day without seeing my favorite girl" he said kissing my cheek
I bet my face is burning red right now, trying to hide my blushing face from him I turned around facing the fridge I took out some cheese and ham to make myself a sandwich.
Like you've seen I have a crush on him for a while now, The way he treats me any girl would fall for him but I know he will never see me more than his little sister and that's what kills me, I was caught in my thoughts when I heard sam calling my name..
"rose , rose ,rose .... Is there something wrong?" sam asked me placing one of his hands on my shoulder turning me to face him
I froze, his face was so close to mine I could faint right here right now, I could hear my heart beat faster and I bet he can hear it too, I could feel his warm minty breath on my face.
"sorry, I was just thinking about something, what were you saying? " I ask trying to catch my breath not sounding weird
"I was saying I still think it's better if you just came and work at my company" he said walking away from me taking some bread and a plate placing it on the kitchen stool in front of me, God he is making getting over him so much harder
"hmm well thanks again for the offer mister but like I told you before am not a kid anymore and i want to try to do things on my own and see where that leads me, no help from anyone " I say pointing a finger at him smiling,
