I can't believe it. That really was a human?! I can't tell anyone, can I...
"Naine? Naine?!" Oh my, I forgot about Luna!
"I'm here Luna! Don't worry about me!" I ran over and ruffled her hair. She was a foot shorter than me, and had the most fluffiest hair I'd felt in our pack!
"I was getting worried, you were in a hike for quite a while. Where were you!?"
"As I said, on a hike! I met someone, I guess we talked longer than I thought..."
"Oh? What species?"
"You would never believe me..."
"Oh come on! Was it a dolphin? A snake? Were they cuuute~?"
"N-no..."
"They were! Ooh, looks like someone has a cru-ush!"
"Deny the looks you give to your, cru-ush!" I replied, imitating her.
"Pfft, I d-don't have a crush on a-anyone!"
"Uh huh." I replied, unimpressed by her terrible lying skills. "I sooo believe you." My voice was rich with sarcasm.
"Y-yeah you should! N-no one in the pack is extreme attractive or a-anything of that sort..."
We laughed together as we ran back to our pack, our territory, our home.
