"妈 (mā)" i called my mom. "one of my friend and coming over to sleep. its a girl though. is it okay?" i spoke in chinese. "who is the girl? is she your girlfriend?" my mom is actually a free thinker, so she wouldnt mind as long i say the truth.

"she is just my friend. she has some family problem so shes staying here for a while. but i dont know when she'll be gone."  i answered. "then she will sleep in the guest room. ill get it prepared." i hugged my mom.

"thank you!"

choi saerah's pov

i took a shower, despite the sizzling pain from my cut wound. i changed into a really simple outfit, and that would cover my scars on my wrist.

actually, i shouldnt have thought of someone that i dont really know for help. but i think he is the only friend that could help. nayeon's parents wouldnt allow such things to happen, so guanlin came in the right time.
