Chapter 7

The day finally came for us to go undercover at our suspects ball.

I went over to the mirror and put on my signature party look of a smoky eye, thick eyeliner and red lipstick. I put my hair into an up do' and put on my grandmothers necklace that i got from my mom's room back home. I took my dress out of the closet and put it on.

I looked myself over in the mirror. I actually looked really good.

I proceeded down to the front hallway were the bayous were waiting for me. They told me I looked stunning and I thanked them sincerely. I put on my black, sparkly flats incase I needed to run (or, if I danced with my uncle) and then put on my nice black trench coat and grabbed my clutch purse that had my phone, lip balm, and other essentials, and then the three of us proceeded out the door

I wasn't nervous. Only eager for revenge.
