Our teacher informed us about a class trip, and as I found your expression from the corner of my eyes, I registered your dissatisfaction with the fact. You approached me after classes, which had me surprised, and you seemed nervous speaking.
"Do we have to join the class trip?"
You might have worried about being even lonelier there, but I would have never let you stay alone. I assured you of my presence, and for the first time in a while you honestly smiled. My heart felt warm for the split second in which you showed your joy, and shortly before it ceased you told me about your love for the beach.
I promised to go there with you every evening.
