What if he only wants your wings?
Then he can have them, because he already stole my heart. – I said to Hasdiel, angel of benevolence. Because it was true, because the demon stole my heart and he needed salvation, perhaps he did want me for my wings, but I wanted him for how he made me feel. Arioch. Demon of vengeance. (He delivers vengeance only when called on) This is for you.
Rahmiel - angel of mercy and love. That's my name, very accurate for my personality, very accurate for the way I treat people, but not so accurate for my adventurous spirit, always wondering, always questioning, the elder angels say that's a dangerous thing, but I can't help it, besides I'm not hurting anyone, I never could.
This story begins with a walk, yes, I took a walk to the dark side of the sky, and which side is that? I can hear you ask – well is a place where demons can be, because somehow those demons never did anything to hurt anyone, - funny, right? – but their ancestors did, so once a time, they are allowed to be there.
The dark side of the sky wasn't very different to the good side of the sky, where I live. The dark side was a little darker (obviously), emptier, quieter, but that sensation, the sensation of someone watching was vibrant and alive. I remember I was scared, but this was the only chance I had of being alone here and investigate, and it seemed like there was nobody there, so curiosity was strong. And like the humans say: "curiosity killed the cat". Walking and walking, I couldn't find anything, until I saw someone was approaching, I tried to hide, but it was useless, so the figure became more defined, and I saw him, that tall figure was almost like an angel, but it had no wings, his factions were harmonic, but the strength he seemed to have was terrifying.
I thought angels, were not allowed to be here – he said to me, his voice was calmed, I looked at him, not sure if I could answer that.
We're not, sorry. – and that was it, I turned around and started walking.
I didn't say you have to go, come back, I'm sure you know I'm not dangerous – he said, and he was right, my mercifulness forced me to go back, he wasn't going to hurt me, he just wanted to talk.
Sure – I turned back and went back with him, he appeared happy, at least happy enough for being a demon. – What's your name?
Arioch, I know, scary as it sounds... - he said with sarcasm – What's yours?
Rahmiel, what's does your name means? – I asked him, he didn't look dangerous at all, only a little mad.
Vengeance. And yours?
Mercy and... - I doubted a little before I said it – love... are you here to deliver vengeance?
Good, you can love me all you want, and no, at least not yet, my revenge comes later... - he replied a little more serious. – So, what are you doing here, Rahmiel? – the sound of my name in his lips were magical and I could tell that I would fall in love with the demon.
I was out for a walk, what are you doing here? How long are you allowed to stay? – the smile on his lips was gentile, the black hair he had was nice and it looked soft, medium length, his eyes were black, but I saw the night and the moon in them.
A week, and I'm here because my ancestors hurt someone... but it wasn't entirely their fault, some angels tricked them, the angels told them that there were wings for them to use and it wasn't true, so they killed the angels, or something like that... - I pitied him, but its technically impossible for angels to trick someone, because God will punish them.
Who the angels were? And your ancestors are still alive? – I asked with interest.
I don't know their names, it was hundred years ago, but I do know they have a descendant and its alive... my ancestors aren't alive, but others are so the charge is left to me, because I'm the youngest – a lot of information he was sharing, why? He wasn't worried that I went to tell other angels?
I see... well I'm sorry, but normally God punishes the angels if they trick someone... not sure how things work... - the environment was calmed, so I wasn't afraid anymore, because now I had company, but something inside of my head was telling me – Your company is a demon, run away... - but I didn't listen.
Yeah... - he said looking at his feet.
I must go – I said and sadness crossed his eyes – But I'll probably come back tomorrow and see you. – he nodded eagerly and touched my hair, I stepped back a little, but he wasn't offended, my gold curly hair still in his hand... it was a rare sensation, the touch of someone, a demon.
