"If hindi ka pupunta, ako ang kukuha sa award mo, tapos hindi ko ibibigay sayo." She continued.
I laughed again. "Okay okay, I'm going."
"Cool. What are you planning to wear? Sabi ng Student Government semi-formal."
Oh crap, I only have limited dresses. I don't really like wearing a dress. It's not my choice of clothes to wear.
"Uh." I said, followed by a long pause. "I don't know. I don't have plenty of dresses. How about you?" I continued.
"Hey, how about this, Claire and I will go there and we'll do our makeup and some other girly stuff." Hannah suggested.
"That sounds like a good plan."
"I'll call Claire. Be there by, 2pm. See you!"
"Okay. Goodbye."
Then we both hung up.

"Okay. Settle down everyone. We want to congratulate the Lady Huskies for winning the game last Saturday against Augutus College of Bukidnon." The emcee said.
Everyone clapped.
We were already at school and the program just started. The auditorium was jam-packed with students wearing semi-formal attire. It was kind of crowded, since almost all of the students attended.
I sat at the table located at the left side of the gym with my teammates plus Hannah and Claire.
You must probably wonder what I'm wearing right now.
Well, I'm wearing a light shade of pink silky dress with a beaded floral hairband and my glittery pink platforms.
"You okay?" Mika, our spiker, asked. "Yeah." I smiled.
She grabbed my hand and held it. "You sure? You look pale."
"Yeah. I'm just hungry, I guess."
"Well, the program just started. Matiis mo pa ba? I could get some of the appetizers for you. Para may laman lang tiyan mo."
I hugged her "Thanks Mika, but I'm okay." She smiled.
"And the new MVP of our school is Sophie Eriksen!" The emcee announced and everyone started clapping. "Please come on stage to receive your award." He continued.
I looked around and saw my teammates with huge smiles on their faces. Some where shaking my hand, while others pat my back.
"Congrats captain!" they said. I smiled and went onstage. Coach Rey was already there, waiting for me. I went closer and then she hugged me.
"You deserve this." She whispered.
"No I don't." I answered and she just stared at me, looking shocked.
I took the award and came closer to the microphone.
"Thank you St. Calungsod University for giving me this award. But I don't deserve this." I said.
I heard some of the students gasped. I even saw some girl covered her mouth. Really? Is it really that shocking?
"My teammates worked and trained as hard as I did. They deserve such an award too. And Isn't it too early to pick a MVP?" I continued.
