Surroundings

I slowly opened my eyes the bright light causing them to close again I tried opening again I saw blurry figures I blinked my eyes a couple of times

My vision cleared up and I heard one of them say

"Mom, he's awake" the brown one said

I saw a wolf approaching me the same color of the one who spoke guessing it was the mother she came towards me I quickly backed against the wall hiding my face between my paws

"Hi, my name is Eve don't be afraid we're here to help you what's your name?

"H-Humprey" I said weakly

*KATE'S POV*

I saw humphrey cowered on the back wall looking scared he was a simple wolf with a gray coat, a white under belly, and a black nose. He have scratches all over and have a small chip on his ear.

He's not from here I can tell he looked different and cute at the same time

*NO ONE'S POV*

Humphrey stood up and hugged her and started crying Eve was surprised at this she eventually returned it and started speaking kind words to him trying to calm him down

"Shhhh it'll be alright everything will be okay" Eve said

After a few minutes he let go and wiped his tears away

"I-Im sorry I-I shouldn't have done that" he sniffed

"There's nothing to be sorry about do you have any siblings or any parents?

"N-No my parents was k-killed right in front of me" he wimpered

"I'm sorry to hear that do you know why you came here or why your parents got killed?

he looked away and I slowly spoke

"I don't want to talk about"

"Oh, okay and I hope my daughters Kate and Lilly will like to show you around" suggested eve

"Who's Kate and Lilly?

She pointed to a small brown and white wolf but, he paid more attention to the brown one she was beyond beautiful her golden tan fur reflecting off the sunlight, her amber eyes have so much sparkle in them, and her fur groomed so smoothly

He was knocked out of his trance when she started to walk over and held out her paw
