She held out her paw and he shook it
"Hi my name is Kate and this is my little sister lily" she pointed to a all white wolf with deep purple citrus eyes with long bangs covering her other eye
"Hi" she said in her sweet low voice
"Hi, my name is humphrey and I hope we can be friends"
"Ha ha, we already are" Kate chuckled
"She's cute when she laughs" thought humphrey
*HUMPHREY'S POV*
But, the second wolf, Lilly, She was all white and she didn't look like the other wolves in the pack she looks like an Omega but, who knows I'm not an expert but, she wasn't like her parents which means she's not Kate's real sister but, who cares
*NO ONE'S POV*
"Come on we'll show you around" lily suggested
"Okay" he replied
We started walking to the entrance the warm glow from the sun lighting up everything. Wolves running and wrestling it seems like a peaceful place
"So, humphrey Those are the feeding grounds a-
Her sentence was cut short when three wolves and a log came tumbling on them.
Humphrey got up from the pile and started helping every body up
"Thanks, who are you? I've never seen you around before?
"Oh, my name is humphrey I'm not from around here"
"Well, my name is salty and these are my friends shakey and mooch,We were log sledding"
"Log sledding? Humphrey tilted his head to the side in confusion
"Yea, log sledding.......it's basically you find an old half log and put it on the highest slope you can find, then you slide down while avoiding rocks and trees and all that type of stuff, its really fun"
"So, do you uhhhh want to be my friend? He meekly asked
"Sure, if you want to hang out or go log sledding you know where to find us" said shakey
"Come on, let's go!
He got the log and started pushing it with his friends running after
*A Couple Of Hours Later*
Well, kate showed him around for the rest of the day and he was grateful for once but, Humphrey couldn't stop looking at Kate. The way her golden honey fur and her amber eyes always have shine to it. She's cute when she laughs and has that smile that can brightned anyone's day
They walked back in the den and found Eve sitting in the middle of the den. We walked over and Humphrey greeted her by nuzzling.
"Humphrey dear, we found you a den come with me" Eve said
"Okay"
They walked out the den the sun just above the trees getting ready to set we started approaching a den I got inside. The den was big enough I saw food stashed in the far corner
Humphrey walked further inside he walked to the corner surprisingly the cornor was actually warm he laid down and curled himself in a ball.
He heard paw steps and Eve giving him a kiss on the top of his forhead and she walked out he slowly started closing my eyes and he whispered
"Good night, mom and dad"
Those were his last words until he drifted into a deep slumber
