Looking past the countless times I've eaten bits away from you
I ask you: see my beauty for abandoning my duty-
I want you; the loved one who buys me planets to rest on;
I need you to believe in me and stay delicious forever
Continue to suck chunks of salt from my fingers and call me "giving girl"-
Stay fresh despite the toxic wind tonight,
Spin me, hopeless, into a whirl
Tornado my influences away
And let me take another bite of whatever you've been today.
