Silently gasping for air as I walk up hill,
The thin air is tender and carries a chill,
That runs down my spine with each drop of sweat
As i look around the serene town with a hint of fret.
To know answers, to find my senses,
To find out who am I, who I really am?In the shade of the mammoth trees,
Acting like a shield from the digital life.
Still reeling from the effects of a potent high
As the sun blares away in the distant sky,
I stand by the edge of the cliff,
Awestruck by the valley's bliss.Tourist crowd the base of a waterfall like ants
Leaving the unexplored for wanderlust.
And so I crawl my way up to the top
Panting like an asthmatic with a mile wide smile..
The smile of success and conceding to life
So I sit atop and meditate
In hope to learn my fate.A blanket of clouds surrounds me
Just cold whiteness where nothing can be found.
Such is the ability of the Himalayas
To create a heaven here on Earth.
The glacier water froze my throat
As I rubbed my eyes, struggling for vision
My mind struggling for inspiration..
For motivation to live a city life.
